update: I followed up on the reply from Lowes to call their customer support line - essentially, they just listen to what happened again, but nothing concrete happens, the lady on the phone seemed sincerely shocked by what had happened, she apologized and said the call recording would be sent to 'leadership', that's it, there is no follow up to the incident.
I have been going to this store for many years, I'm what you would consider a 'pro' customer under their rewards program. Today after returning PVC fittings that I always buy in excess when doing a project, then return the unused pieces, I walked to the fittings aisle to get different types, I was using the bag that I used to carry the returns to carry the new fittings, I had around 6~8 small pieces so it made it easier to carry. After a few minutes I was approached by two workers with an intimidating attitude asking what I was doing, I explained I was buying pvc fittings for my bath remodel project, they asked me why I was using the bag and I explained I had just returned some pieces and was using the same bag to make it easier to carry the small fittings, they said they understood and that I was not in 'trouble' and left, I was a little frazzled by the situation but understood they where doing their job and checking on the situation, they left only to come back a few minutes later with someone else accusing me of stealing, I was in the same aisle and at this point I was shocked, we had just talked about it and the same person comes back with someone else saying he was reviewing the video and 'saw what I did', I said 'did what? we just talked about this', I was shocked, again I explained to him and he said again "ok ok so you are just using the bag as a shopping bag" then added "you should use a bucket" this is when I lost it and just left. If any worker at the store sees this review, please use this situation to get better training on how to communicate more effectively with customers, this is not how you handle the situation, if there are any misunderstandings or you don't understand a customer, ask to explain again and make recommendations and why, don't leave on the assumption that everything is ok/resolved only to come back and accuse the customer viciously as if you hadn't just talked about it. What a terrible experience.
I never had anyone at this store provide helpful information, they always come asking if you need any assistance/help, but the moment you actually have a question they look puzzled and don't know anything more than vaguely where their products are.
The whole experience was odd and sad, seems as if they need to justify their work and have to build up cases to report to management. In my case a lifetime customer gone, just like that, terribly sad experience.

Portland cement is bad,all hard,I mean how are you suppose to mix,I was passed today,mixing cement and millions of tiny peices wouldn't spread after I tried very hard to apply,everything else is perfect so this reveiw is for the cement only,it's suppose to be mixed not mix together while applying,maybewhen they send it back they remix but doesn't mix,come on,there should be not as new ones sent that no one buys right away so they sit and get hard,no one will buy so it's a waiste of $,just trying to help

This review is for the online orders only. Numerous of time I've gone to pick up my order just to find what the picker grabbed is damage or incorrect. I let it go a few times and several other time I had to get a manager involved. My last order was a disappointment, 2x4's were curved or crack . Not a good look for Lowes.

I visited Lowes in Bensalem, PA, carrying old plumbing parts, aiming to purchase push-to-connect replacements. After finding the parts I needed, I looked for a confirmation from a representative, Kelly, to make sure compatibility and avoid any potential returns or additional trips. When I asked about the fit of the new parts with my old ones, specifically mentioning a 1/2 inch size, Kelly responded dismissively, asking what I thought it was and then begrudgingly agreeing it seemed to be 1/2 inch, displaying a cynical and unhelpful attitude. I expressed my reliance on store staff for assistance as a non-professional DIYer, only to be informed that his assistance was limited to directing me to the parts. Disappointed by the lack of support and respect, I decided to leave the my purchase and headed to HomeDepot instead. No wonder why HomeDepot is more crowded than the Lowes.
