This is the second La Mexicana store, the other being on Rt. 13 in Bristol, PA. It is smaller than it sister, and without a dining area to enjoy an authentic Mexican meal. Aside from that shortcoming, it has two aisles full of Real Mexico - foods, kitchen supplies and even a few pieces of clothing, all manufactured South of the Border for the local population. This part of Bensalem and southern Bucks has the largest representation of Chicano culture, and if you explore a bit you can find tiendas mas grandes, y excellent restaurants very nearby to fill your cupboard and belly. I stopped in hoping their was a kitchen and dining area here, but finding none I was happy to buy some chorizo for our breakfasts at home. Friendly people who easily suggested the best place to grab a good meal in the area. I'll keep that secret to myself.
