We really enjoyed our stay.PRO: Loved having the hot tub & fireplace. The double shower head walk in was huge, and I liked it has a door. Room was spacious and clean (even under UV light.) Great location with lots to do. Great privacy.CON: You can tell the rooms are older & could use some minor improvements (loose, hanging recessed light. Fridge door seal was broken and didn’t shut - we just put something up against it. TV remote was broken). Note: I didn’t take time to report any of these because they were minor inconveniences & I was busy enjoying my stay.Nearby activities: Check out Bury The Hatchett Axe throwing and get the premium package. Tons of fun!Food & drinks: Metro Diner within in walking distance and always delicious.

Omg this place is amazing! Check in wasn't a hassle the young gentleman at the front was very helpful and informative with things to in the area and places to eat! The room was easy to find because there's a map on the key card and we got a free fire log. When we enter the room The Cave suite it was so cool, the rocks in the wall the large jacuzzi and king size bed was great double headed shower private entrance also to your room was perfect. In the morning the young lady showed me the light breakfast in the front lobby. It was the perfect night that I decided to stay another night. The young lady helped me with choosing another room she even took the time to show me the rooms! This is my new go to spot when I want to run away from my kids!

My wife and I took a summer trip up to Philly, which was like a 10 hour drive. We booked this expensive room (I think it was like $600 for the night) because we never stayed in this kind of room before and wanted a romantic evening together, as we were finally free of kids for the first time in years. The room features a private pool with mirrors surrounding the whole area, soaker tub with jets, and a shower with 2 benches and 2 shower faucets set on either side. So it is rather obvious what kind of activity is expected to be going down in this room. We arrived at 3:45 to check in, which was a few minutes early, as check in was posted as 4:00. There were a young lady and young man both working behind the desk. The young lady calls us over and tells us we are early and tries to say that check in is 4:30. Our confirmation email and the sign on the desk both say 4:00 check in. She tells us housekeeping is finishing up the room and will need that last 10-15 minutes. Okay, not a big deal. We are early, but given the price of the room, we wanted to get our money's worth and maximize our allotted time in the room. We paid the remainder of our balance and waited the 10 minutes. The status of the room was not exactly justifying the price. Firstly, the decor was outdated, like early 90's style. Walls were stained and chipped, rug stains, dusty and rusted grates to ceiling vents, cracked mirrors with pieces broken off, and sunflower seeds underneath chairs and even out in the open throughout the room that even the most basic of cleaning efforts should have removed. Worst still was that the soaker tub had brown crud floating, and my wife was already standing in it as the tub was filling. I'd expect the room to be cleaned and bleached after every guest, but disgustingly it was not.The pool room was decorated in a nautical style with light blue walls, which made it seem like it was intended for families with kids. Given the heart shaped bed with mirror on the ceiling, it's obvious this room should have had a more romantic design. We started doing the intended activity in the pool, and as it was reaching its peak, daylight suddenly breaks into the room from the utility closet. A man dressed rather formally is standing there and horrified when he realized what he walked into. He panicked and muttered sorry twice in a thick Indian accent as he ran back out of the room. Now, it's important to mention here that when it comes to said activity, my wife and I are both repressed due to respective childhood traumas. We both were leaving our comfort zone together by staying in this type of room, and now we had the traumatic experience of someone walking in on us.Needless to say, we were mortified and livid. We were also too tired from the drive to worry about booking another room at another hotel. My wife, still dripping wet, phones the front desk and demands a refund. The young lady apologizes, says it was a housekeeper and offers us a partial refund. Seeing as that is unacceptable, she then put us on hold to consult her manager about a full refund. While we are on hold, the young man picks up, informs us it was the manager who walked in on us, and says we've been granted the full refund. While standing in the lobby and waiting for the refund receipt to print, I noticed a wall plaque announcing the manager on duty currently as Raj Kumar. It seemed clear to me that this was indeed who walked in on us. There was an adjacent open area, where Raj was holding a meeting with the housekeeping staff and scolding them for not having charged the walkie talkies. Raj himself could have checked to make sure his walkie was charged, but why take accountability, right?! Furthermore, he never came back to us to apologize and to perhaps offer a complimentary bottle of wine or champagne for the trouble. Lazy and classless manager in my view. We did retire back to the room, but I was too affected to be able to engage again in the previous activity of choice. I continued to explore the room's amenities, which included a non-working

Was mine and my fiance's first visit of many to both celebrate his birthday and our recent engagement. The overall experience was very warm, welcoming, charming, and inviting with the front staff greeting us being very kind, helpful, and accommodating with our 1pm checkout, purchasing from the gift shop, and check out. We had an incredible night in the room with no concern for neighbors, a private area outside the room, and did not break the bank for an overall romantic and high-end evening. We will DEFINITELY be back to sample the other suites.Rooms: Decent accommodations, room was relatively clean other than a few left behind rose petals behind the bed and stains on the bedding from time I hope. Overall clean upon arrival and everything in room was functioning from INCREDIBLE hot water, heating options, and all appliances.Nearby activities: We went to Peddlers Village for a wine tasting flight at Chaddsford Winery and lunch at the Peddlers Pub in Lahaska before arriving at the hotel. Plenty of local treats and things to do if you do a quick Google search.Safety: Rooms were secluded, secure, and made us feel very at ease and equaled a great night's sleep.Food & drinks: Room offered 2 small bottles waters, coffee and tea set up, and a few small options at the main desk area with limited but available breakfast options such a packaged muffins, honey buns, coffee, and cereals.

My girlfriend and I chose this place as a little weekend getaway from the everyday chaos and we were not disappointed! Now the rooms are a little dated, there’s some blemishes here and there, at least in the room we stayed in. But all in all it was not bad! My suggestion would be to update the TVs into smart TVs, we couldn’t watch our favorite show on Hulu. But other than that the service was top notch, the beds were clean and comfortable, the room was clean, neat, and presentable, and we had a great night here. If you’re looking for something special without completely breaking the bank, I’d give this place a try.

We had a fabulous stay at this location. All of the staff were extremely accommodating, professional and responsive to our needs. We traveled with a group (couples getaway) and everyone was very pleased with our entire stay. We will definitely return to this location and encourage others to visit as well. It was the perfect location for a great time.
