I contacted Revival on Lincoln to host my best friend's bridal shower and I was extremely impressed with their event coordinator, Cindy. She was thorough, attentive, thoughtful, and considerate throughout the planning process. She took the time to tailored the event down to the last detail for a one-of-a-kin, memorable experience for everyone. I cannot say enough wonderful things! 10/10 would recommend!

We had a wonderful family dinner at revival on Lincoln – this was our first time at the restaurant. Our server Alana was wonderfully helpful- even going to get drinking notes from the bartender on various wines. Speaking of wines, they have an extensive and unusual wine list that is very affordable. Many good bottles in the $40 range! The food was fabulous – perhaps the best crabcakes we’ve had in Pittsburgh. Everything about the evening – service, food, atmosphere - was friendly, welcoming, and authentic. I highly recommend Revival on Lincoln. We plan to return again soon .

A fantastic dining experience right in Bellevue. The crab cake was delicious as was the gumbo. I had a really good Manhattan also. Very good service, would definitely return. We were sat upstairs - I would have preferred to have been on the main level where a pianist performed for diners. The ambience seemed a lot nicer on that main level. Hopefully next time!

My wife and I went there for restaurant week. Great service and every course of both of our meals were great!

Went on restaurant week so service was choppy, seemed like they weren't used to the volume, kitchen and bar backed up. 30 minutes between clearing the apps and the entrees coming out, we were there for 2 hours and spent 1/3 of that with no food or drink on the table. Ryan, our server, was very professional and welcoming.Ambience is interesting. The first floor is 3 separate dining areas. The lighting is stuffy and harsh in two of them and very comfortable, dim and romantic in the other. There are sound-dampeners in one of main rooms but not the other.Next time we will definitely request a seat in the "library" section. Some of the tables, including ours, are awkwardly shoved into corners, giving you the sense you've been put in time-out.Remove some of the corner tables or pull them further from the walls and put a cover over the light fixtures and the ambience would be much better. The food was good to great, all the proteins were perfectly cooked and the sides were very flavorful, bordering on over-salted. The penne was very high quality but the sauce was not emulsified or combined with the penne, giving it at awkward appearance and messy texture. Chicken Romano and the mushroom app were excellent.Desserts were hit and miss. tiramisu had no hint of espresso and was a little soggy, lemon tart was very flavorful and attractively plated.Everything, including the $16 old fashioned, was 20% more expensive than you would expect for the quality. You're paying Capitol Grille/Altius prices for a nice suburban restaurant. Check out 40 North or Severina for better food for less $, or Siempre Algo/Fig and Ash for a more thoughtful atmosphere.

We tried this restaurant for the first time during restaurant and we were not disappointed. Everything was fantastic and the ambience was mellow and intimate for a date night. Chris F. was our server and he was very social and accommodating. We plan to come back. Probably the best steak I have tasted in a long time. The Mousse and Lemon Curd Bar was delicious!

What a gem this place is. From the tucked away back bar to the patio in the summer, the live piano music from Keith, and the hospitality of the entire staff. Loved it so much we had our wedding rehearsal dinner here, and all of the out-of-towners could not stop raving about how lucky we were to have Revival in our neighborhood.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp in the back leading right into the back bar and main dining floor. Accessible restroom also available on the first floor.

I must go against the general opinion of 5-star experience and land on a less than favorable rating of 2.5. I cannot give a 2.5, so I must round down to 2 and here is why. I will start with the good. Reservations were easy to make through their website. The venue is cool. The building is a (restored) 1900's mansion. It is impressive. The architectural details are beautiful. The space is somehow both cozy and roomy. You feel like you stepped back in time. We were seated shortly after walking in at a small table in the same area the hostess stand. Our server was polite and knowledgeable. I ordered a drink, the Revival Manhattan-$13.00. The drink was good and the price in line for the upscale environment. Next, I ordered a beet and walnut salad-$10.00. Ten dollars seems to be a bargain for a salad in a fine dinning atmosphere, but honestly it fell flat. It mostly consisted of walnuts with two balls of cheese and some slightly too toothsome beets over some boxed spring mix. The salad was also incredibly small. Spread out over a long skinny plate it gave the allusion of more food but what was equivalent to about 5 bites. I was really hoping my entrée would hit it out of the park, though the description of it was quite pedestrian. I ordered the vegetarian bowl. It had a tomato broth base, cubed sweet potatoes, chickpeas, wilted spinach, herbs with a larger (AKA not cubed like the rest of the ingredients) stalk of broccolini lay dead center. What my eyes could only describe to one without a picture is reminiscent of canned vegetable soup. Disappointing is being nice about it. I can't remember the exact price, but I believe it was $22.00. Pretty expensive soup for what was presented. I could not finish the soup and asked to take the remaining soup home. The server collected the leftovers to take to the kitchen and package up, and while doing so asked if we were there for any special occasion. It was our 10th wedding anniversary. He congratulated us and offered a dessert on the house which is classy and appreciated. The dessert was chocolate mousse that he delivered with two spoons. Our meal was not quite what I thought it would be and I left underwhelmed with the experience. Though there were some highlights that night, there were a lot of let downs. The big kicker is when we got home, my husband, who carried my leftovers to the car, picked up the bag that the leftover soup was placed in by the staff, and it was all through the bag. The staff put my leftover soup in a paper to-go-box. A soup, in a paper box that has unsealed flaps, you know put together at the restaurant by the staff at time of take-out. Again, soup in a PAPER box. If you do not offer another way to transport a soup, I wish you would have expressed that. Instead, I was left with a plastic bag (holding my saturated paper box) with some soup still in it, most leaking out and then more leaking out of the plastic bag placed over the paper box "holding" the soup. It went directly into the trash and left a mess to clean up after. I am still stunned that someone did that, it doesn't show much awareness or care for the customer.

Such a lovely restaurant. Beautiful decor, helpful and courteous staff. The bar is quite inspired, with scratch cocktails. The menu is limited, yet thoughtful and delicious. One of our favorites. Very consistent.

This was my first visit but it will not be my last. From the momnet that Fred welcomed us, I felt very well looked after. Service was slowly paced, neither rushed nor tardy, and we had adeqaute time to consider our menu options and have a good chat. My food options were an arigula salad and Bass. Both were excellent in flavour, texture and taste. My wife had soup whihc was disspointing - lukewarm and tasetless - I tried it and I concur. Drinks were good - a nice Pinot Grigio and an Argentinian Malbec. And desserts were cleared completley.
