The truck I got was a MUCH newer model and in much better condition than the one I rented 2 days later from the benner pike location. Frankly it was fun to drive that 15 ft. The mechanic running the place keeps them in pristine condition. It's a more folksy approach to Uhaul. A real Mom and Pop operation down by the crik. He mustve read me like a book because he gave me a reminder since I hadn't driven a uhaul truck in about 4 years that I almost forgot to do every single time I started it. The dog was super adorable and I would 100% recommend this to a friend for the novel experience, higher quality trucks, insightful mechanic operating the joint and the big goofball puppy dog.

Sam (i hope I'm remembering his name correctly) was a nice guy and interesting to chat with while I was there. The uhaul experience was as expected. Truck and everything was just as I hoped. He even gave me the smaller truck price cause of a reservation snafu. Would use this place again and would recommend it to others.Added bonus, I got to meet his 10week old saint banard puppy. Very cute and friendly.

Unethical and lie. Two of the worst traits any small business can have. I placed an order for a U-Haul Truck over a week in advance. 3 days prior to the pick-up date and I receive a phone call from the corporate office saying that my order has been cancelled. I ask why, and the lies started flowing.1st lie - The location never told you that the reservation was approved. Response - Then why was I told to be there at 11:00 or earlier on the day of pickup, or there is a possibility I would lose the rental.We went back and forth on this for a little. That went nowhere, so they were to transfer me to the location. The location was not available, so they would have the service manager call me back to work this out.2nd lie - The service manager for the location is the owner who I worked with when placing the order. The person that called me was one of the workers. I know this because I have been working with them for 4+ years.She tries telling me the same type of reply, they never promised me a vehicle. I correct her with the same information I was told. (20 foot truck - pick up date - pick up time - do not be late because the truck will be rented out to another person). That goes in one ear and out the other.3rd Lie - They try telling me that they do not have anything available for me (NOTE: I do need the vehicle for multiple days, so this is the reason I set it up in advance and have been doing so for 4+ years). Next thing they talk to me about is the 24-hour rentals that would be available.How do they have 24-hour rentals available if they can not honor my order? CricketsDealing with them is like dealing with a child. Denial is not an answer to a situation, especially when you made a commitment to a customer. They need to take ownership for their mistakes and make true to what they commit.Disappointing and would not recommend their services to anyone.

The place is dirty and unorganized. You have to go through a dirty clustered auto garage out a back door into the owners homes basement which is also clustered.. The own himself was really rude even used unprofessional language swearing at us because we parked our personal vehicle in the wrong spot. Then argued I didn't have a rental scheduled. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone giving it 1 star is being generous
