“I had an exceptional experience at Fine Wine & Good Spirits on South Atherton, thanks to the outstanding service from clerk Logan Herr. Logan went above and beyond to help me find the perfect tequila for a special occasion. His knowledge of the different tequilas was impressive, and he offered thoughtful recommendations based on my preferences.
What really stood out was how patient and personable he was throughout the whole process. Logan took the time to explain the nuances of different selections, and it made my decision so much easier. I left the store feeling confident in my purchase and excited to try his suggestions.
The store itself was clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate, but Logan’s service is what made the experience truly 5-star. I’ll definitely be returning and asking for him again!

“Tried this place on a Friday night during Penn State Parents Weekend. Long wait which is understandable, but the food was delicious. The French onion soup was better than Paris. Truffle Parmesan fries yum! Steak sandwich also delicious. The waitress was super friendly, funny, quick service. We waited at the bar for our table. The drinks were perfection, but the bartender not friendly at all. But oh well ! Maybe she needed a drink Lol

“I love Wegmans!! Any time my wife and I are in State College, we usually stop here to pick up a few things. Does it have pricey, quality food? Yes, it does! Does it have lots of store brand items that are better quality and typically cheaper than its competitors, such as Giant, et al? Yes, it does! Does the average person understand how much they could save at Wegmans if they shop there regularly? No, they don't! Ok, lesson over, folks.Seriously, Wegmans is awesome! I don't typically buy the pricey gourmet cheeses and meats, unless it's for a special reason. To me, Wegmans is quality and they employ decent, customer-friendly employees. At this location we buy smaller sized cans of store brand vegetables that our local Wegmans in central PA only sells in the larger family size. Oh well. If you've never shopped at Wegmans, you are missing out on a real treat.”

“Staff was fabulous. I found what I needed. However, the majority of customers, most of whom appear to be students, are not wearing masks despite the Borough mask ordinance. This is part of the reason why the hospital was having to divert some ambulances to other facilities. ????”
“Pletchers has the best beer selection and prices in state college. They are my go-to place when i want anything other than a domestic 6 pack, and they carry good kegs too! One of my favorite things is to browse during seasonal beer releases (like Oktoberfest), because they always have something I've never tried or even heard of before. Staff are super nice and understanding when you do things like lose your keg receipt! Check them out!”

“The staff, especially Kelly, are super friendly and accommodating. The store selection is smaller than the one on north Atherton but it's more convenient to bellefonte and Zion. Highly recommend this PLCB location for its excellent customer service.”
