He didn’t want to do a catless exhaust which is understandable. What i didn’t appreciate was after giving an opportunity to see it, he scheduled me for 2 weeks later, i dropped my car off the day before the appointment, and he doesn’t call me til 4pm the next day to say he can’t. Not wanting to do the work is fine but don’t have me waste weeks then hold on to my car all day and still not do the work.

If you care about your car don't take it to Jim. I took my 87 dodge Ram in to have new intake manifold new carb valve covers along with other things. He couldn't get my intake sealed after 2 times and never got back to me to fix it.SO I went in to get my throttle cable he said he installed only to get a big box of my parts that I thought was on my truck like a chrome fuel line with filter, throttle plat and linkage that is causing me shifting and kick down issues, other carb parts and engine hard where. Now it has cost me a lot more MONEY trying to get it straightened out.I feel like he ripped me off.

I recently dealt with the proverbial blown head gasket on a 2011 Impreza. Jim found another EJ25 motor, swapped out the engine which took care of the blown heads, any questions surrounding the water pump, the timing belt, and got rid of that annoying heatshield rattle on the exhaust manifold that's common on older subbies. EXCELLENT service, EXCELLENT price, GOOD turnaround time (it was around Thanksgiving and, at the time, Jim was dealing with a busted ankle).
