I have been coming to the thrift store for many years. the experience was always something I looked forward to, especially the high quality items in the boutique. Over the last year or two I have noticed that it is more and more disorganized and cluttered, and the quality of the clothes is not what it used to be.
Very disappointing.

The volunteer staff are sweet and helpful. The store is well organized and full of hidden gems at incredibly great prices. One of my go-to places when I’m in Bellefonte!

‘Thrift Store’ ???This place is very expensive! I don’t know what they think they have? It’s all used, donated stuff and they have huge mark up prices on everything. You may as well buy new.

Volunteer staff are rude and condescending, and the prices are unreasonably high for a thrift store. Their desire and motive to support the community in need is questionable. Skip Faith Centre and visit St. Vincent de Paul thrift store instead where they’re actually providing “quality, low-cost clothing and household goods for [their] community members” and the volunteers are very sweet.

It hurts to write this review. I've been shopping at the Faith Center since I could walk. It's sad to see how overpriced everything has become. It's depressing that they feel a second hand sweater with noticable wear and tear is worth $20. People shop second hand because they don't have the funds to shop new / full price. What's the point of coming out to The Faith Center if they price higher than Goodwill? ( Who is also overpriced) What's the point of shopping here anymore if their prices continue to get closer and closer to what the items sold for originally? It's been a long time since I came here and found a good deal on anything. I've also come here and had a certain cashier decide to charge me more than what's on the tag. But most of the time the people working the register are the sweetest, nicest humans I've ever met. It's always a toss up when you check out. I've stopped coming here for the most part, I hope you guys lower your prices so it might actually be affordable again. You get everything for free, there is no need to gouge people because someone in the back decides to classify an item as " boutique".
