I love our Joann's it is within range for me to go to, as my health continues to decline. Many of us crafter's with serious health problems use our crafts as therapy to keep our minds busy. My husband tells everyone he doesn't care about the cost, because he See's the pride that comes out of the finished project. Right now I'm trying to finish off as many of my unfinished projects as I can.
February, I had a new Echocardiogram performed and it showed that the 4th and final valve in my heart is now leaking. I pray everyday for one more day, I'm not done helping others. And again TY goes to St. Jude's research for donating the porcine Mitral Valve I had replaced Aug 11, 2011 it gave me 13 more years with my hubby 'my Teddy Bear, bf', all my 'Heart Family members', my son, my grandchildren Jon & AB and all of yun's.
And blessings to the ladies at my local Joann's 'that I scare almost Everytime I go in their store now. I start sweating buckets and turn gray. They always ask me if I need an ambulance? Do I need to sit down? What can they do to help? This is a family store, please do not close it.

The staff needs to listen more closely to its customers. I have pointed out problems with products only to have the staff totally disregard my comments. The other day I was in and looked at the Red Heart Granny Square yarn. I noticed that in the darker skeins almost every single skein had a dye issue with spots of green dye clearly visible on the skeins. I pointed this out to one of the staff. She clearly agreed there must have been a dye issue. Instead of pulling the yarn from the shelf she simply put the yarn back.I once showed the staff empty containers that had the product stolen from them. Rather than taking the empty containers that I showed them and keeping them off the shelf, they put the empty containers back on the shelf. They were there for a couple of months before they were pulled. Who puts empty containers back on the shelf? So if you shop here, look closely at the product before buying because the staff does not and they ignore customers who try to be helpful and point out substandard products.

Picked up some fabric which was on sale for just under $5. Per yard Regularly priced at $12. It was the canvas fabric. Great deal! Also bought a couple other things which was a but over priced. .compared to Walmart. But I dodged the crowds .It was worth the extra few bucks. Associates were kind and helpful. Overall experience 5 star.

The Belle Vernon JoAnn's is a smaller, older store, has a decent selection of goods, and so can feel a bit cramped while shopping; it reminds me of the JoAnn's my mom shopped at when I was a child. Ordering online/through the app and picking up my purchase is easy and convenient.

It's a small store and most of what they carry can be found elsewhere for cheaper. Would be nice if they had more baking stuff, but it's pretty limited as that's not their main thing. But I saw the Dungeons and Dragons Cookbook there, so it's kinda like, what exactly are they trying to specialize in? If you need specialty craft stuff, you're probably better off ordering online. Also, the staff wasn't very friendly or helpful. It's also in a poorly designed and maintained parking lot, so that's one more reason not to go here.

Good selection, nice people. Unfortunately, it's a long drive for me, so the visits are rare. I remain very disappointed that the store in Washington PA was closed. That was my go-to, and I was there almost weekly.

The only reason I took one star off is because it's an incredibly small location. Despite this it is usually well stocked, tidy, and utilizes the small space well for what it does. Their fabric collection is quite large in this location but not so much for other arts and crafts.
