They have great deals on great guitars, banjo, and pretty much anything you need for music. The people in there know what they are talking about and they treat you with respect.

I cannot say enough good things about this shop. I blew the head out on my Hartford last week, and nobody in my area works on banjos. I called Mike last week, and he was very pleasant and polite and answered my many questions. Stopped down today and he replaced the head, put some new strings on, and just basically gave it a tune up, and now it plays and sounds like a dream. I would recommend this shop to anyone with a banjo, and as an added bonus, he has a really cool selection of vintage banjos for sale.

A very welcoming place. They not only sell banjos but also have an eclectic mix of guitars and other stringed instruments and the inventory constantly changes. My wife and son have both purchased banjos there. Last weekend we stopped in just as they were closing and Mr. Amato turned the lights back on and encouraged us to look for as long as we liked!

The master craftsman Dennis Dibert is very talented. He only makes top end custom-made Banjos which are quite impressive. Sorry, there is no showroom or retail sales, but see the web site for more information.

It was worth the 3 hour drive to visit the Shop. Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly atmosphere ...... even the regular people hanging out were friendly and helpful.

I was glad we were there when they were open during the week. We had been by on a Sunday and of course they were closed. (The owner said we should have called him!) He had some really good buys in used instrument including orchestral strings as well as banjos, guitars and uke's. Well worth your time if you are looking and he has a good website.

Went to this shop to pick up fiddle rosin on a day trip to Bedford, walked out with a beautiful Sigma dreadnought. The owners were patient enough with my two small children to give me time to play a few instruments, and fall in love with the guitar I bought. Good selection by small town standards, amazing prices, very knowledgeable, very friendly.
