Called to get a price on a remanufactured transmission, I was told I had to bring the vehicle in for a quote. The vehicle is currently not driveable bringing it in would require a tow. I've gotten quotes from apx 10 other places by giving them my vin. When I said I didn't want to pay a for a tow to get an estimate, I was told " that's the only way we do it go waste someone else's time"
I will gladly give my money to someone else

Does this business use a different phone number than the one listed? I’ve called multiple times to set up an appointment but it automatically goes to voicemail. I’ve left 2 voicemails and neither call has been returned. I’ve also reached out via email so I’m not sure what’s going on.

Our car broke down at I-75 SB at exit 153 in Georgia. After towing our car to Jason's Custom Transmission, he gave us the diagnosis that we needed a new transmission. During the time it took to have a new transmission manufactured and shipped, Jason and Laura kept us up to date several times weekly on its progress. We've now had our car for a week and it runs great! They both were very helpful and gave up updates often. They made a very stressful event easy to get through with their concern and helpfulness.

I took my daughters car to Jason because it was having transmission issues. He did a complete diagnostic on the car and even checked the rest of the car out. He told me what the issues were and gave me a price on fixing the transmission, I decided not to go ahead with the transmission replacement because I didn’t feel the car was worth it. After telling him I wasn’t going to have it replaced he didn’t even charge us. Thanks for being honest and understanding Jason!Service: Transmission

I took my vehicle to Jason for a noise that had come about suddenly and seemed to be transmission related. He performed a thorough diagnostic of my car and wrote down everything for me to reference later. He let me know that they were not immediate threats to driving the car and what I should look out for in the future. He did not try to force any unnecessary repairs and was very easy to work with. The first thing I noticed when entering Jason's shop was the cleanliness and everything was in its place.... that's something you don't usually see in a repair shop which says to me he takes pride in his work. Jason was a pleasure to do business with. He explained in detail the work that needed done and what will need done in the near future. Friendly service, quality work, reasonable prices. Was looking for information about a transmission for my car so I called the number listed above. The man who answered said “I don’t want your service, quit calling”. Never heard of a business being so rude to a potential customer. Luckily, Snyder brothers in Robinson, PA gladly took care of me.

I had a dump truck transmission loose reverse. I troubleshot it the best I could but realized it wasn’t worth fixing but needed rebuilt. I called multiple shops around, explained diagnosis and found most shops didn’t want anything to do with it. I found Jason and called, extremely knowledgeable and kept his word throughout every aspect. Being a mechanic myself, I was highly impressed by Jason’s knowledge and integrity. I put about 2,000 miles on transmission since rebuilt, everything perfect. Would highly recommend.
