We got to the office and the receptionist had us fill out the first part of the paperwork. We got that done and she said we could leave our stuff and he would get back to us when it was done. My husband and I looked at each other like 'huh'! I told her we had an appointment, and she said"yes, but you're late because it was at 12 and he doesn't have time now".(It was 12:15 at this point because we were actually EARLIER than we originally planned) I told her No, it was 12:30. I said, on the phone, she told me there was 12 or 12:30 and I wanted the latest because of my husband's work schedule. We would have had to make other arrangements if we had gone with the 12. He couldn't have done 12.She said "No it was 12 and I can prove it because I have it written down.Like that means anything! I had it written down too lady.She was rude and condescending the whole time. Very unprofessional. We had too many questions about things to just let him do his thing and "get back to us"We told her we would no longer be using them and went elsewhere.

Only go here if your taxes are very, very basic. The year we sold our house, we went here because I had a first-time homebuyers credit that needed to be repaid and I wanted it handled by a professional. The mistake he made when preparing our taxes that year took us two years to correct with the IRS, and interest charges of over $100 for the delay in processing. When I called him to ask for the money back we paid him to do our taxes (I wasn't even asking for him to pay for the interest), he said it was our fault for not providing the right information. No sir, it's your fault for not asking the right questions. I don't know what I don't know, that's why we pay a professional. Even the free version of Turbo Tax asks the questions that would have eliminated the issue. Go to someone who specializes in tax preparation, not an accountant. It's worth the money.

No use calling or emailing as these folks dont understand customers or communication. If I could give zero stars I would. Definitely contacting the BBB for negligence. The receptionist is a complete failure and talks over you the whole time. They will refer you to take your business elsewhere rather than providing services. Just another greedy place to take your money and get treated like garbage, sick of these places.

Our experience with Mr. DePaola was heavily damped by the lack of information flow, failure to disclose related costs, misleading information, leading us to waste $400 service fee, which he refused to refund at all. He has a way to lead you in and buying into the services I had to say. Complete negative experience all in all.

One of the best business experiences so far. Mr. DePaola and his staff was professional, polite and very knowledgeable. Best of all, He got it. He understands how important the customer experience is. I was able to get my Business questions answered and explained in common terms that I understand so I could go back to running my business rather than chasing my tail talking to government agencies. A++

Mr Depaola is a very kind and considerate person. We have been going to him for our income taxes for many years. He has helped us in several situations and is very quick in his office and to return calls and message. I have recommended him to all my family and friends and would definitely recommend him to anyone.
