“Store can be hit or miss with certain items, but overall it is one of the cleaner Aldi stores. Staff is nice and willing to help if something is not on the shelf. There is always one aisle that is an unorganized mess, but that is because customers toss everything.
Plenty of parking, normally 1 cashier unless it's super busy, self checkout area moves fairly quick.”
“Shopped here growing up, moved out of state for a few years and finally revisited recently. I was a bit upset that the store looks exactly the same, it needs some work on the inside, outdated... However, their deals are the best and I prefer them over giant.”

“Nice location, inside is nice and up to date... my only problem is it seems like every time I shop for produce here things are moldy and just not great. I hope that eventually the produce is as great as it once was.”
“I love AUDI I LOVE THERE IN BONE HAM even though they don't have all the time ? I just went today Feb, 2 2024 Friday no ham ? the girl soon ??♀️ love the snack pack puchuto, cheese and sticks bagels, today I bought rack of lamb I was so excited the price was spectacular thank you Aldi ”
“This store is on Catasauqua Road in Allentown. There is usually only one cash register open and no self check out. I went in and saw the long line and left. I'm not a fan of self check out, but the store was too busy for one line to pay for your groceries. I love Aldi this store just needs more cashiers.”
“I am Latino. And I frequent C-Town a lot. I get everything for Latin cuisine. It counts like a small amount of the island. the language and the high quality products... I recommend it ? ☆☆☆☆☆.”
“I LOVE shopping at C town.I have been going here for a few YEARS.They have a van who picks YOU up at YOUR HOME and brings yoù back.YOU only have too spend 30.00.They would like if you would tip the drivers a few dollars.People r so friendly at their store. One DECEMBER I had a few extra dollars. So I said to Cashier Bagger a few other people.Pick one item in the store for YOUR SELF.One of the people picked.Shrimp another picked a family box of Cereal 2 other people picked a see through bottle of orange Juice.Another picked 2 candy bars for himself and son.I had wanted to buy 1 roll of paper towel.I could not locate the 4.00 in another part of my purse.Cashier offered to buy it for me.At his discount rate.I said thank YOU SO MUCH.Another time I was short a few dollars and a gentlemen who works there put money from his pocket paid for it for me.Another time all my groceries were bagged up I was short 200.00 I had to start by taking things that I didn't need but wanted back out of the bags.Until I had just enough to pay for my order.I was still short 28.00.A women was walking with her family towards the door who stopped to ask how much does this woman need? She is short 28.00.She paid the difference for Me.I thanked her.I would love too pay YOU BACK if I should see YOU AGAIN.”
“The cashier with the blonde hair who helped me tonight was exceptional, professional and courteous. She went above and beyond to help me. The staff who helped me deliver my groceries were nice and helped me every step of the way. This grocery store is a blessing to the neighborhood. Thank you so much! I will definitely be back to try your fresh bread and get authentic Caribbean products.”
“The southside needed a new grocery store! Ideal Basket was long overdue. Ahart's was disgusting and the health bureau should have shut them down many years ago. The city should be ashamed of themselves for allowing Ahart's to remain open thru the years. With that, the owners of Ideal Basket gutted/remodeled the building's interior. They also added a new parking lot. They offer many Hispanic/Caribbean foods and also non-Hispanic/Caribbean items. The store is owned by the same owners as C-town on 3rd Street in Bethlehem. So it's kind of C-town however, much bigger with better parking. I visit for my meats and last minute items. I find their meats affordable and fresh. As for pricing on additional items, they are a little pricey. It is about supply and demand. I am sure if there was competition on southside with additional larger grocery stores, Ideal Basket would be more competitive in pricing. I like it's clean, they have the products, and you do not have to drive across town to grab last minute items. As for customer service, most of their employees speak English as a second language however, everyone is friendly. I think the manager's name is Emilio and I always see him helping customers. I have also noticed more cashiers that do speak English fluently. The store seems to be trying to cater to everyone from Spanish speaking to non-Spanish speaking customers.”
“Place is really big and a lot of vegetables choices and meat ?… however it just hard to communicate with the staff… but they try their best to help everyone ?”
“This was my first visit to pick up a few things, because I was in the area. This is a well stocked neighborhood grocery store. All departments (meat, produce, dairy, canned goods, etc.) offer a good selection and fair prices. Next time I am in the area, I will make this the place to stop and shop.”
