We are very pleased with Dr. Bud and staff. They took great care of our pug up until she crossed the rainbow bridge. Took our new pug Swartz in yesterday and could not be anymore pleased. We know Swartz will get the best of care.Love you all!!

This review is not about the wonderful Vet Techs nor the support staff.
I could go on and on about the issues with this practice. Suffice it to say, if you love your pet go somewhere else because the male Vet could not care less about your pet. The prices are insane which makes the lack of empathy for the welfare of your pet worse. If you MUST go here, the female Vet is hands down the better of the two. She is compassionate and knowledgeable. Problem is, if you leave your pet there, which Vet will be touching him or her?
The male Vet was nasty to his staff, me, and worst of all, he treated my pet like a thing and wasn’t gentle about it. I felt horrible for my pet and paid to know nothing more than I did when I walked in. I asked for records to be sent to my new vet and did not receive a call back and records were not sent. Animals deserve no less than we do. I feel horribly guilty that I put my animals in his hands. Stenglein on Cherryville Rd. is a much better option.

Dr. Carpenter and her staff were wonderful when we had to make the toughest decision in having our dog euthanized. Very caring and took wonderful care of our Bo. Thank you to this great team. We really appreciate you and all you do for our fur babies ♥️

Knowledgeable and friendly staff that treat our huskies like children. Dinky and Kuma love the girls. Don't let the low prices fool you these are the most knowledgeable vets we have ever used.

Almost $400 to check 2 Guinea pigs itchy skin! The male vet was incredibly rude to us and his tech. The little sore he said was 'self harm'. Last I checked Guinea pigs can't reach their own backs. there is a female veterinary there and she is pretty good and very nice to the animals. But they are very expensive either way.

It pains me to stop going here as it is by far the most conveniently located. As others say, the doc here is condescending. The staff couldn't care less about you or your pets. They still don't let you in the building, and they wear a mask while talking to you on the phone so you can't hear a word they're saying. They don't bother explaining what they're doing to your pet, they don't ask for your input when it comes to your pets. They don't disclose what things cost until they bill you.Doc here told me my cat was overweight. My cat is not overweight, he's just very long and tall, a big boy. I don't think he even looked at my cat.

After spending thousands of dollars, we had to make a very difficult decision to put our dog to sleep. When we called CV at 9:00 am, they wouldn’t accommodate us with an appointment until later that night. Each of us had the day off from work and had made a difficult decision as a family. I guess they couldn’t call the person scheduled & say they had an emergency & change their appointment. Not acceptable! We will never go back there.

Very over priced. Charged 25$ for a bandage fee that ended up swelling my pets arm. Did not like the way the vet handled my pet. Seems to care more about profit than care of the animal.

Took our 1 year old puppy for a sore back paw. Instead of even looking at the paw, the vet nearly demanded that the puppy should get SURGERY for hip dysplasia IMMEDIATELY, without even doing a full inspection. Absolutely unreasonable, really seems like they want to get money out of you anyway possible. We'll be taking our pups elsewhere from now on.

I would not recommend this place to my enemy.. my dog had a tumor on his leg.. Dr Budd wanted to remove it for 1500. Ok well I didn't have the money right then so I had to wait a bit. When I got the money he said it was too late it couldn't be removed he would have to amputate the leg.. at least 4000.00 an done take payments.. well a friend told me about a vet in New Jersey.. not so far down so I got an appointment and he said there's no way he needs to lose the leg. He removed the tumor just fine. It was only 1500.00 from start to finish..surgert.. Anesthesia..medicine..recheck an stitches removed all included. And my dog still has all 4 legs working fine. Always get a second opion.

I've searched high and low for a vets office that meets my standards in the area and Community Vet checks off all the boxes. Dr. Bud & Dr. Kelly will take all the time in the world to make sure you're happy and understanding and that your animal is well taken care of. The practice is clean clean clean! Staff is always friendly and caring. I travel 40 minutes one way just to come here and have been for 10+ years. Couldn't recommend this practice enough.

Took my 4 yr old GoldenDoodle in for an inspection because she was limping from a recent fall into a hidden hole while walking on a leash. I Was told after an x-ray that she needed immediate reconstructive bone surgery from a break at the elbow. After surgery was told that mysteriously there was no break or reconstruction needed. It was really a " mysterious small tissue mass", most likely malignant needing a biopsy since it was either an aggressive or non aggressive form of cancer. $3,900. later after the surgery and biopsy we were told that it was not malignant, but a "mysterious" walnut sized mass that contained a calcium deposit. They gave me 4 prescriptions after the surgery that turned my dog into a whimpering zombie. I had another vet clinic review the x-rays and was told they saw no indication of any break and recommended to perform a biopsy after which the small mass would be removed. The cost was less than half of what I experienced. I really doubt the intent and competence of this practice. I feel I was hyped throughout the entire process. Not to mention all business is conducted either on the phone or in the parking lot. BEWARE, always get a second opinion.

My girl went from 6 pounds to 60 pound at community. They care about her and have always been great, caring, and not over priced!!
