I wish I had better options for a local hardware store instead of these big box stores. The staff at this store 3 out 5 times have attitude the moment you say "excuse me" and ask for help. For example, I asked for help with cutting some copper wire so I asked a worker for help, she instantly took a deep breath and started saying it wasn't her department even though she was working that section. I wanted to look at 2 of the cables for price comparison before making a purchase and she said that "I should know what I need before coming into the store." She then could not work the machine after 6 attempts, which made her even more upset. It took everything in me not to go off on her for being so unprofessional. Another time I stopped an older gentleman for help while he was pushing a shopping cart, I just needed to know what isle an item was located in. The moment I said "excuse me" he rolled his eyes, banged his hands on the cart handle, and said "what?" There's so many people at this location who don't want to be bothered, yet they're supposed to be there to assist in their designated sections. Oh and don't bother ordering online for store pickup, the website will say they have 50+ of an item available but it won't "be avaliable" when you go pick it up. Now if you go to the isle for that item you'll see what you're looking for waaaaaay up at the top where you need a forklift to grab it. If you walk around the store you'll see the forklift guys talking and hanging out, so I can't get my item because these guys aren't pulling and restocking products. This happens all the time which is why I typically go to these stores when it's an emergency or I can't find it on Amazon. A family member use to work there and he confirmed the pure laziness that goes on at this place. Avoid them if you can.

I have decided to boycott these big corporate stores and instead, lend my support to local, small family-owned businesses. Since I moved to the area four years ago, I have been purchasing everything for my home from Lowe's. However, I find it to be a constant struggle to find what I need, as very few employees seem to possess the knowledge required to assist customers. And let's not even get started on their frustrating automated checkout system. But what truly pushed me over the edge was my recent bathroom vanity purchase. Despite spending over $600 on it, I was disheartened to discover that the vanity had arrived broken. One would expect a certain level of quality control, but sadly, that was not the case.

None professional service and zero respect from the person I think he was the manager because I was in the process to order the kichen stove and he tells me I have to leave the store because they close,very disappointed

I’m not believing all of these five star ratings recently. Like a grocery store this place is most useful when you can find what you need on your own and just grab it off the shelf. It all goes downhill when you seek customer service. And notice I say “ “seek” because numerous store associates will pass you by and no one will ever ask you if you need help. Also, I see a pattern in their lumber department when asking for a panel board to be cut - their saw seemingly is out of order on 9 out 10 instances. In fact, a few times that people have willingly cut boards for me. I always end up being surprised. Bottom line, I’ve spent $1000s easily over the course of a few years - all I ask for is “decent” customer service in return. At least the cashiers are always nice.

Even thought we had a horrible experience with a female white chubby associate with glasses at the returns counter Drew the manager was brought to up to this disoriented absurd and unprofessional behavior. He apologised on her behalf and treated us with utmost respect. Keri has also been very helpful in the past times . GOD BLESS THE INDIVIDUALS THAT CARE FOR ANIMALS AND THAT ARE VERY KIND!

I came in today looking for water softener salt and had been struggling REALLY hard with my toddler. I’d been on the verge of tears all morning and as soon as we walked through the doors, my toddler started screaming and crying. I tried to comfort her but it wasn’t doing any good. An employee named Jen walked right up to us and excitedly said hi to my toddler and handed her a sparkly 4th of July headband. She turned my kid’s day around. She turned my day around. I was so touched. She saw my struggle and went above and beyond for a complete stranger. Every business needs a Jen. Seriously she deserves a raise or promotion or something. Thank you Jen.
