Service and parts department is awful. Our pool is 12 years old and we have been Customers since the pool was installed by them. This summer we have had problems with opening. They did not close it right last year and had to fix the frozen pipes. Then our shut off valve pipe by the pump broke. Pump wouldnt start. My husband finally got it to start and had to leave the pump running 24/7. Called and asked them to come out to take a look and fix. Waited 5 days and called back. They sent someone to look and that technician never talked to us. Just took a look and left. Did not fix the problem. Called again and Bonnie said that she would get the technician to call us back. He never did. We waited several days and called numerous times to get an update. My husband went up there on a Saturday to get the part to fix it himself, but of course the service and parts department was closed and the sales told him that they would have someone call. He ended up fixing it himself that weekend. We couldn't wait anymore since the pump was running 24 hours a day for over a week! Now, we are looking to refinish since it is recommended at the 10 to 15 year mark. Looking to get a quote to refinish and to have new piping, filter, and pump done next spring. Again, let emails and messages for several weeks. Finally, Bonnie called back and again said that they are busy and will get back to us. Will not hold my breath. I have no faith that they will call us back or follow through. Already called another company and guess what! They answered and are coming out tomorrow! Fronheiser used to be really good. Don't know what happened this year, but I'm very disappointed. We have been loyal customers. We have the pool closed by them yearly and even buy hundreds of dollars of chemicals, and this is how we are being treated?! My question is this... how can Fronheiser treat their longtime customers like this? We can't wait for when it is convenient. Our pool is a large expense, and the issue we had earlier this summer couldn't wait. I hope the owner reads this and resolves their department service. I hate that we may have to look elsewhere, but customers' service, communication, and timely responses are important to me in any business that serves customers.

I have a pool that was installed by Fronheiser 13 years ago. I love my pool. I have had them close it every year. I have purchased all of my pool supplies from them over those 13 years. No more. My pump died. Ok I'll check Fronheiser for a replacement. Out of stock. Damn I'll check Amazon, reluctantly. Bingo, a Pentair Superflo VS. Email Fronheiser, text them exactly what I need. Pump wired and new PVC. The old one were different sizes and did not line up. Tech comes out and is gone in 30 minutes. No knock or doorbell, just gone. I come home from work, plumbing looks great, but why is my pump not hooked up? Text them. Oh we don't connect pumps that are not purchased from us. That was not disclosed to me and it is not on their web site. You did not finish the contracted job. I have a text that says no problem. If you tell me that a text is not an agreement then I can say I never agreed to the work being done. Good luck getting paid.

I have been very pleased with Fronheiser. I have worked with them for over 10yrs. This was the first year we had a pool for them to service. They have done a wonderful job all year for us.

Usually good service but this morning had to unload and load 10 five gallon chlorine containers without assistance. Thank goodness my granddaughter was with this lady couldn’t have done it. Wasn’t even asked if we needed help

This morning, my pool was green and cloudy. I went to Fronheiser's with a sample of my water. The young woman working the samples counter was able to tell me exactly what I needed. 5 hours later and I can already see an improvement.Great advice and prompt service.

Horrendous service. They don’t make appointments, they just show up whenever they feel like it. They charge over $600 for “pool opening” which apparently just includes removing the cover and nothing else - they had to keep coming back out over and over again because they kept "forgetting" stuff even though it was selected in their own paperwork. I paid for them up front to maintain the pool all summer and 10 days after they “opened” it I’m still waiting to be able to use it. They claim to have cleaned it but there is no indication that anything was ever done. They claim to have put chemicals in the filter but the filter was never even turned on and the pool is still cloudy and dirty. When asked for them to show me what to do when they are here next, I was told “it’s not our pool so just google it”...yes, for $3k/year you are told to just “google it”. Company seems to be struggling and customer service appears to be a thing of the past here.Update: instead of actually offering to fix the issues their lack of communication and service has caused, they are simply cutting off customers who leave bad reviews. Stay away.Update #2: Upon hiring a much more responsive pool company which performed the cleaning and opening Fronheiser was hired to do but failed to, it was discovered that someone seemingly dropped a fully extended Leatherman Tool into the pool while closing it last year and simply left it to get stuck in the drain over the winter. Furthermore, the filter was completely clogged and simply needed a good rinsing to work, which Fronheiser also failed to do during their alleged multiple trips to the property to open and clean the pool. The filter could have been severely damaged if not for my hiring another company who discovered the issue.

Horrendous service and they refuse to admit they cannot service all of their clients but have no problem taking their money.

I've been a customer for almost 10 years. I have a 30,000 gallon concrete pool. I live a mile from their store. I have re-plumbed all the mechanicals with fittings and valves from them. I have bought all my chemicals and chlorine from them. Today they started a policy that they would not sell me any plumbing components unless I bought the pool from them. Maybe they've just grown too big. Good-Bye Fronheiser!

I was very disappointed with the pool opening service we received today. We paid for the basic pool opening service which includes start up of the main pump, testing of our booster pump and heater. When Fronheiser came to open our pool up today there was no testing of the booster pump or heater, in fact my booster pump was left leaking in the pool shed and would not even turn on from the main switch. Heater was also instructed on the contract to be left at a temperature but the heater was not even turned on. No contact was made when they were here, no note was left for us to to let us know if something was wrong with the booster pump and what repairs were needed. When I called I was told the techs tablet was not updated so they could not see his notes. None of the chemicals we had purchased were opened so I don’t even know if the pool has been balanced. We just bought our summers supply of chemicals from them and paid for this opening which was over $700 just to have this disappointing experience. I definitely hope they make this right with us or we will be finding a new company to work with.
