I'm currently sitting in the parking lot and the store is closed. The website says 9pm but it's 8:30 and no one is there. The note on the door says 8pm and it is the last day to get my package. Now they will return it tomorrow morning as if I didn't come to pick it up. This is bad business.

These stores and their policies are beyond stupid these days. I purchased multiple t-shirts for a project, but I learned that I needed the next size up. Gildan shirts don't have a lot of stretch so order the next size up. Michaels doesn't do even exchanges. I was told that I'd have to return the items, forfeit all coupons and sale prices and repurchase at the higher price. I don't plan to patronize this company going forward.

Do not come here! The customer service at this Michael's is the absolute worst. Employees are straight up disrespectful to your face and have no interest in actually helping customers. Unfortunately this was the closest Michael's to me but I won't be coming back here. A longer drive is 100% worth not having to interact with the employees that the Bala Cynwyd Michael's again.

Worst Michaels. I was searching for a crab ornament and my husband found it here and ordered it he got the confirmation email that our order was ready for pickup so we went. This Michaels is out of our way and not our usual Michaels. We get to the store and the cashier said the order was cancelled and showed us some paper. We showed her our email that said it was ready to be picked. All she said is it was cancelled, no explanation, no sorry or anything. None of the staff here seem to be competent so we won't come back here

I generally only come to Michael's with my fiancé when we are in need of home decor items. Never really had an issue at this location until my most recent visit. They have a wide selection of items for all your home needs and DIY projects. The store is clean and very organized. The main reason why this location got 3 stars is because of the service. I went in to buy a 20 x 30 frame that was listed at $14 online but when I went to the register it was priced at $28, which I was not expecting. I pulled up the online listing and they eventually honored the price after a manager helped resolve the issue. At the end of all this, the individual at the register rolled her eyes at me and did not offer a bag to put my items. I did not want to spend another minute so I just took the frame in hand and walked out of the store

Multiple staff members were wearing ill-fitting masks below their noses. The manager should ensure this does not happen. S/he seems to have little regard for employees or customers. I will not be back.

The worst. Order online and it's a joke. I give up . All day still no email to pick up. This store can barely function with out covid and with covid it's an abyss.

I love Michael's because of the great deals and products they carry. However I like this location because of the people that work here and the convenience of the area. The workers in here are friendly and quite knowledgeable about where things are located in the store and on certain topics too. That's a big thing for me! If you do crafting or like to make things once in a while this is one of the best places to go outside of a hobby shop!

I honestly love this store! It's never easy coming here. I always have a set list of things I need/want but I always go overboard. I just went in to get paint brushes and canvases. I ended up getting that plus new paint brushes AND these really cool ceramic ginger bread houses to paint. MAJOR FYI: always look online for coupons and deals before heading to the register. There's usually some kind of discount they're offering online that you can use in stores.

I have been in several Michaels craft stores in the past few years and the one thing that I could say is that they're all pretty much the same. They always have nice artificial flowers I mean they really look alive, and the prices are reasonable if you managed to catch one of the better sales. They're not very neat, it's like being in an old fashioned 5 and 10 Cents Store oh, you're there for purpose in the sooner you get out the better. If all you're looking for is a few flowers you can get the job done in pretty quickly. It's not a store that you feel good about being in. Parking can be a little frustrating because it's in a very busy strip mall and most of the people in the mall don't know how to drive.

I came here looking for assistance in framing a poster. Melissa and Tad were really helpful and allowed me to use their scissors and measurement tape. I was able to successfully cut my own poster to the size of one of their frames sold in the store. Melissa was super friendly, accommodating, and patient. Really good qualities for a manager of the store. I can't speak about any of the other items in the store but I was very happy with her customer service. Michael's is lucky to have someone like that on staff

Shopping at Michaels this past Saturday 7/21. Went to pay and presented a coupon that listed no restrictions. Was told by the cashier that the item was excluded from being reduced as it was an "everyday deal"? Or something of the sort. Asked to speak to a manager who told us the same thing, producing a different coupon and showing us the fine print. We stated, as we were walking out, the print was not on or coupon and they were not treating customers fairly by not clearly marking this. The manager replied "all you need to do is read". Super unprofessional, called corporate, person on the other line was not at all helpful and rude. Told me to expect a call back from corporate which I have yet to receive. Not going back to this Michaels.
