“I’m a very loyal person when it comes down to services-once I commit to a provider I usually stick with them no matter what. I chose my dogs vets office years ago and after time & time again I left disappointed in my dogs care I finally got the nerve to ask others for a new recommendation on where to go. VCA Bakerstown came highly recommended so last month we made the switch. We are brand new patients there and we just unexpectedly lost one of our dogs and are devastated. They hardly know us here and have been nothing but compassionate and helpful. In a time we needed it most they have supported and cared for us and a 5 star google review doesn’t begin to cover how thankful we are.”

“We have been taking our dog to the Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital since we got him 10 months ago. Whether for routine or emergency visits we always know our dog is in good hands! The staff and Dr. Ibrahim are always professional, responsive and accomading. Dr. I is also very knowledgeable, experienced and thorough. Our dog has needed two procedures and each time he was well cared for in every aspect of his preparation, surgery and after care.”

“We have been going to Myoma for many years with multiple pets with an array of problems. Dr. Haywood has taken every comment about my pets' health very seriously and ALWAYS gotten to the bottom of things and really improved the quality of life of my pets. We are very lucky.”

“Everyone here is extremely kind and helpful. They put the best needs of your pet first. My dog had a mass on his ear that was growing quickly and the front desk called several times as soon as they got a schedule change to move his surgery date up. Dr Nikki is the best vet we have ever worked with especially with GSDs. She is easy to talk to and always makes my dogs feel comfortable. I trust her with the care of my dogs and know she has their best interest at heart. We have been to many vets and have had many pets as well as foster animals and I would not take them anywhere else.”

“Dr. Mary and her entire staff are truly the best! We entrusted care for our elderly cat Cody and dog Bella at Pine Village for many years. Unfortunately our cat became ill and passed away in 2020 and we just lost our pup in June. No words can ever describe the love and care they showed our pets as well as support for my husband and I during some difficult times! They brought so much light to us during some dark times. Also many thanks to Jen for being a trustworthy caregiver for our pets! We will be sure to bring any future pet to their office for the same love and care they showed our Cody and Bella girl! ??. They deserve far more than 5 stars! Sending much love to Dr. Mary and her staff!”

“They are life savers. I recommend them 100%. Will continue using them. They are not just vets but also animal lovers, which makes them perfect for your pets needs. They are not trying to get rich like other places. They only charge what they need to charge and nothing more.”

“Took our elderly cat to see Dr. Tuttle today and couldn't have been more impressed with the staff. I receptionist was pleasant and attentive on the phone when scheduling the appointment, I believe her name was Christina (sorry if that is wrong my memory is horrible). Liz, our technician was kind and gentle with our senior kitty who can be quite spicy at times. Dr. Tuttle was caring and compassionate when doing his exam and offering treatment to our girl. Will be bringing back the rest of our crew to see him. Best part, the prices were amazing for the quality of care we received.”

“Great Vet office. I bring both of my cats here for all of their vet needs. They are able to schedule my appointments around my work schedule. Willing to answer all of my questions and they are great with my fur babies :)”

“We love Wexford Animal Hospital. Both of our dogs are patients here. We switched to his vet after a negative experience at another vet, and have never looked back. They never try to oversell you, and treat your fur babies as if they’re their own. All of the docs are incredible so it’s really nice having the flexibility to see multiple doctors and get appointments faster when we need them, yet still know our dogs are in good hands.”

“Took my mini poodle here to be spayed. Very easy process from start to finish. Had to leave a voicemail request to schedule her spay, but I was called back within a couple weeks. It does take a bit to hear back, especially for dogs, because they only do a few appointments a week - Please be patient, it's worth it! The staff put me at ease with her spay. They told me weeks in advance what the check in/ pickup process was, and the fees were extremely reasonable compared to the vet. When I picked her up she had a cone on and some medicine to take home. Nurses gave me post-surgery guidelines to follow. Within a week, my little sweetie was back to normal!!”

“I was really happy they took in my wounded cat within a day online. It was a lifesaver. He got a bite or wound on his nose. He got stiches that day and was seen in morning. I will be do a recheck in two weeks i hope my kitty wound heals. Went for second appointment and was pleased with vet. My cat nose is basically normal. I give lots credit to vet that did the stitches. Wow look at his nose now. What a great job he did. This happened in august now its november. Its a little steep but worth it. Now i have pet insurance”

“Every now and then I make a poor decision. I took my two new kittens to a veterinary chain. I thought it would be more “convenient”. One of my kittens is not doing so well and the only real help from the “chain” was to throw antibiotics at the issue, rather than working to understand the underlying issue. Having been a client of Harts Run for years with previous cats, I knew immediately the error of my ways and made an appointment at Harts Run. What a difference. The vet took a lot of time with me to talk through all of my kitten’s symptoms. We discussed what it could be, both the not so bad and the really bad, and produced a plan for treatment. Note: antibiotics were not part of the treatment plan. The entire staff at Harts Run is top notch. I learned my lesson. There is no other vet for me. I wholeheartedly and with fervor recommend Harts Run.”

“Anyone who has had the honor of loving a pet knows they are more than an animal. They are an essential part of your family and more importantly your heart. After 14 years of unconditional love, my family and I had to say goodbye to our cherished dog, Reptar. The past year of Reptar’s life, Middle Road Animal Clinic, did absolutely everything and anything they could to give him the absolute best quality of life. They always got us in when Reptar was having a bad day, they treated us all so kindly as we had to come to the decision to say good bye, and they showed truly how much they care for each pet when the time finally came to let him go. The decision was gut wrenching and still hurts to this day, but their kind gestures like a personalize cremation box, plastered paw print, and unexpected hand written card made the transition for my family a little easier. When ever our hearts heal enough to let another dog in, we will most definitely be bringing them here, because this team has full heartedly also become a part of our family!”

“I had a Guinea pig emergency. There are few exotic animal vets in western PA and even fewer who can see them in an emergency situation. All Pets took Maverick the same day, as a new patient. The cost was very reasonable. The doctor was very thorough and extremely caring with Maverick. The clinic was extremely clean. Definitely an excellent choice for any small animal.”

“My cat, Mitzi, had a terrible case of myiasis, which is maggots eating away at the flesh. She was in the worst shape possible with huge open wounds. My normal veterinarian was so disgusted by Mitzi's lesions, etc. that she didn't want to deal with it. She ran out of the examination room without discussing care for Mitzi. I turned to a friend who recommended Tender Touch. Here, Mitzi was treated by the brilliant Dr. Brugos and Hannah, a wonderful CVT.This office is aptly named, they cared for Mitzi carefully and tenderly. They methodically restored her injuries over weeks, and Dr. Brugos used his excellent surgical skills to repair her damaged tissue. The surgery was impeccable. I never thought she could look normal again. In fact, she looks great!I feel so fortunate to have found this group. They really care about animals, and they are talented practitioners. This was a terrible ordeal, but Tender Touch did everything to make it manageable. I'm so grateful.”

“DISREGARD ANY BAD REVIEWS YOU SEE FOR THIS PLACE, THEY ARE ALL WRONG!!I went today with my mom and 4 cats. Erica and Allie were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable with all of them! Erica showed us how to better clean our cat's ears, did the cleanest sanitary shaves we've ever had, and showed us mild intensity exercises for our cat with arthritis. Allie was very soothing while holding the cats for their cleanings and shavings. While I was here I actually scheduled to bring my other cat in next week because I was so happy with how well maintained, professional, and cost efficient this place is! I will forever bring my own animals here and recommend others here! Erica and Allie are so professional, intelligent, and friendly to both people and animals!”

“Staff were wonderful, but I waited almost 5 hours before I was told they needed to keep my dog overnight and how sick he really was. When he was released, I was told to bring him back next Wednesday for x-ray and blood work. I was told to call the day after discharge and let the doctor know how he was doing. I called from 3 different phones and it kept saying the number was disconnected. I finally found an email and then someone called me back. I was disappointed that when the doctor saw I didn't call, he would have checked in with me.When my dog was there, he was cared for wonderfully.”

“Dr. Bennett is OUTSTANDING!!! I would DEFINITELY want him to be my doctor if I were a critter or dog/cat❣He takes his time, talks so nice, calm, and is so so genuinely in love with ALL animals. Even the ones who are such great patients...like my moms adopted white pidgeon "Cream Puff". He came from a bad situation, so we totally forgive his behavior. I mean if ppl have PTSD from minor issues...this poor guy definitely does. He was a rescue from an local animal rehabilitation center and put up for adoption. We being a bird, dog, rabbit (practically anything but cats) family...we had to have him to show him what a great home was. One where he didn't have to look over his beautiful white shoulders anymore. He got ill a bit after his adoption. Nothing serious, but he did need medicine...in his mouth...and he is a strong, feisty, not very cooperative guy lol. Dr Bennett not only was so patient with him, but he seen him with every dose he needed and got it down his throat and got him all better and back to his usual adorable (but not so nice) self hahaha! Then our parrotlet fell ill. Dr. Bennett was so so heartwarming&really did everything he could to get him feeling better. Put him on oxygen, even stayed over night with him once if my memory serves me correctly. He is one amazing guy this Dr. Anyone who is his patient is one lucky animal (person...animals are ppl to us...and Dr. Bennett treats them as such).”

“We were referred to Dr. Enwiller for surgery. Rather than completing the procedure as planned, she took the time to review options, allowing us to make the best decision possible for care during our dog's final days. She even personally reached out to offer her condolences when she learned of his passing. Would recommend her and the team (especially CVT Alicia) to anyone!”

“I have never been to a Banfield before but I have recently been given a 7 month old Cane Corso puppy whose previous owner had bought her an insurance program through their Wexford location. With that being said she had a problem and I took her in to have her checked out. I have another rescue dog that I take to a vet that I have used for years. The Banfield experience is definitely different from all the other vets offices I have ever been to. I have read a bunch of reviews about up-selling and other things, which yes I guess you could say they did ask a lot of questions when I got there for her intake. Like did I want her nails clipped and her anal glands done as well as things like was she shaking her head a lot and has she been coughing any. All of this I said no to and we went on with the reason I brought her there for. Now I see how people could take this as up selling however there were questions that I could have answered yes to with my other rescue dog and that gave me a reason to pause and ask myself why they were asking these questions. I believe that when you get in and start talking to the vet you do forget about the small stuff like nail trims and the head shaking was something I needed to address with my other vet who never asked me these questions. All in all they fixed my new girl right up and yes you can look at these things at up selling if you want to or you can realize that they are just trying to give your animals the best care they can in a different approach. You don't have to get the services done and just say no to them like I did. If your animal doesn't need it then don't get it done but be happy that the vet tech is asking these questions because it's for a reason. I am thankful for them fixing my girl up and for asking the questions because I would have not known to get my other guy checked out. Not everyone does things the same way and Banfield's way is different and can be a little intimidating the first time you go there if you're used to an old fashioned vets office like I was. Give them a chance and you just might see that they are just as good as the other vets out there and their way has its upside as well. I feel like their way is really good for new owners or people like me who haven't had dogs in over a decade.”

“My cat Poppy saw Dr. Pease today for the first time and we loved her! So kind, so patient, and took the time to explain all of Poppy’s needs to us. This Banfield location was really straightforward with pricing and I never felt pressured or ripped off. I ended up buying a wellness package but was never pushed into it. The office was a bit chaotic but mainly just because they were busy! Dr. Pease was great as were all the techs and staff! So grateful!”
