I have lost count of the number of packages that arrive at Avondale post office and instead of getting delivered to my home in Avondale they end up in other states. Didn't know this was rocket science. How can a post office so small make so many mistakes?

This review is for shipping items via the counter service:Had a $300 Louis Vuitton scarf that, according to tracking, never left the building and has never reappeared in the three years since I mailed it.Mailed extremely lightweight, high end, running shoes in a carboard box, the counter person weighed them in at 9lbs 1.8oz at a shipping cost of $17.45 to Rhode Island. The Manufacturer of the running shoes has the weight at 9.9 ounces.Save time, money, peace of mind and go to the West Grove Post Office for counter service.

I filled out paperwork for a person that does not live at my address anymore to stop the mail this Post Office has poor processes and does not follow through.

The clerks and carriers are outstanding. They are very knowledgeable and very courteous. No attitudes here! The postmaster deserves a lot of credit for such a fine public facility. It should be a model for other offices..
