Manager Michael has ruined this once great location! He charged me $2471 EXTRA on my 7th monthly rental for dropping it off in BUF, NY due to a flat tire and engine light on a Audi Q7 which has no spare. Buffalo had no replacement in any class and noted so! They also know I called recovery and still won’t refund me the extra $2471. Area manager won’t return a call. Bring Jason back. I’m a National Executive Elite and Enterprise Elite plus member.

I recently rented a Buick SUV from 8/28--9/1 which was a great vehicle. I was very satisfied with the counter service from Michael who processed the paperwork. He was very courteous and professional. I will continue to use National for all of my car rental needs.

Customer Service is Dead. I was honestly told by both the clerk and the manager to get an "Uber". I had a reservation booked for over a month. The flight is the last flight in for the evening. I know they usually close at midnight but wait for the flight. Over the years they have mad arrangements for me to get the car if it comes in late. Now a rental cart company says if the plane is 10 minutes late they will not wait. I cannot fly from out of state into an airport that only has so many flights a day without knowing if I am going to be stranded when I get there. I called a week plus in advance just to make sure everything would be ok and was told the "Uber" story. I rent form a National chain because I do not want to deal with the uncertainty these days of whom you will get as an "uber" driver... It's not safe especially after midnight is an unknown region. I cannot believe a car rental company would tell a customer to go somewhere else. As for this particular location they are also notorious for NOT answering their phones for hours on end. If you cannot rely on a service to be reliable, then you do not have a service. I have now hadt to book another flight into NY and drive an extra 2 hours just to ensure I will be safe and have a car when I arrive. I know customer service is a lost art these days but if someone doesn't step up businesses are going to go under.

I'm an emerald club member. (National auto rental) Made a reservation and have a confirmation number. I get to this car rental company only to be told it was cancelled and they don't have any cars available. I didn't cancel this and I'm stuck at the airport. And no cancellation email either - No offer to help - honestly it was too bad so sad go away. I've been using National for more than 10 years with no problems except at the WB Scranton airport location. Good luck - buyer beware and have a backup plan. Btw I called customer service and all they did was say they don't have any other vehicles either. No attempt to help or at restitution. Looks like it's gonna be Hertz from now on.

Went in there a little more than an hour ago to pickup a rental from hertz, but nobody was there. All of a sudden, a woman working across for national was repeatedly telling us hertz is closed, and when we were asking simple questions, she presses the panic button to dispatch airport security to us. Luckily the officer was extremely kind, but doing things like this, and I’m not sure if race was a factor, but I will definitely not be going to national car rental. EVER. Bias is not how you run a business.

Counter wasn't even open. Had a reservation confirmed for 23:00 coming from Newark, counter closed no response on the phone. Avoid this place at all cost!

This location really irks me. Love how convenient it is but regardless of status, you get whatever you booked. I should have flown into PHL so I could choose a larger vehicle in the Emerald Aisle. No reason an Exec Elite should have to drive a Midsize with no other options or speak of it. There’s plenty of options in the lot.

National seems to take better care of their cars for the most part than most other companies, but they just like everyone else refuse to clean the inside windshield, it is horrible and dangerous driving these dirty death traps at night. Other than that, mostly pleased. My last car was barely 3/4 tank, but they marked it as full, so guess how I had to return it? Kind of wish they would pay attention to that stuff.

Overall experience was fine but then they included a .36 refueling charge. You are actually going to charge a customer .36 for refueling? That's less than a 1/10th of a gallon. About what it took to drive 5 miles to the airport after filling up.

I have experienced with other Rental Car brands because I’m a contractor and have to travel and rent cars often. National Cars normally are brand new, clean and well maintained. I really love how easy it reserve a car through the APP but what I love the most is the car pickup. I just take the car I want located in my Emerald Aisle and go straight to the exit. It so easy and simple that all my car rentals are made with National. For me is the best service.

Horrible service, they give you cars with the tank almost empty. Their excuse is they don't want to put their employees at risk by getting gas but it's ok to put their clients at risk.
