After seeing previous reviews, I was pleasantly surprised with my own rental experience at this location. The agent on duty was nice and able to help me get my car early. I will rent from Dollar Car Rental again.

I reserved a car on Expedia and prepaid $488.92. When I went to the counter at MCO the Agent offered me an upgrade. Did not inform me of the $400.00 fee plus taxes. When I got my final bill, I owed an additional $955.58 for the rental vehicle. If I reserved the same vehicle today, it would cost me $580.68 total. Since I was offered the upgrade without even asking for it, I cannot wrap my head around paying an upgrade fee plus all the taxes and fees. The Agent never stated any of this and even told me I would be receiving a $40.00 refund from my prepaid booking. When I prepaid $488.92 that also included taxes, why would I be able to rent the same vehicle today at a cost of $580.68 but when I go to the Dollar counter and told I am going to give you an upgrade, I am charged more than 2x that? Difference is $648.82. This would make sense to no one. This is not an acceptable response from Dollar. I feel Dollar is taking advantage of the customer and I feel ripped off and very dissatisfied. Dollar is offering me only $215.00 (half the upgrade fee) and will not budge. I have reported this to my credit card, state Attorney General's office and the Better Business Bureau.

This is specifically for the Scranton PA airport location if I could provide a 0 star rating I would. They left myself and 5 other people stranded by closing at 5:45. Myself and others had a flight that was slightly delayed and even after checking in online and them being notified of the flight delay they decide to just close up shop. Luckily the Avis counter stayed late to assist the customers that were also delayed and had additional vehicles. Avis was incredible with their customer service and they had a better rate. I will never use dollar again and will steer everyone I ever speak to away from this company. I hope everyone listens to this review and others about how terrible this company is.

Horrible wait in Austin TX. Reserved car online weeks prior to arrival. Arrived at stated time on Reservation and had to wait over 90 minutes for someone to take car of me. Never again

If you want to get junk cars go herePlus when you are done look at your invoiceRip offf no one will answer call to fix your problems,,Just pay with your card,,Price is different every minute,,,If you ask them about price they say we must check ,,,What is their to check just give people the amount many people were complaining…Rental cars are just robbers

Check your statements after drop off. They charged me 11.11% per hour late. I was at the drop off a 1/2 hour before I said I would bring it in. I will be receiving a refund thank goodness I caught it....Beware!!!

Horrible!!!Rip off!!!Will not rent again!!!The car I was supposed get was not there when I arrived. Got another car which was not safe. Had to return the next day to get a different. Take pictures before you drive off the lot. Take pictures when returning the vehicle. I returned the car in perfect condition and I am being for damages.

The guy we dealt with was very very rude. He needs another line of work because he sucks at customer service. I will never use Dollar or recommend them. We had a pick up time of 7 pm and was there on time and he was rushing out the door with a coworker..Never again. Rude is what I am politely calling him. On top of all this my money is non refundable
