I ship about 200 items a week and spend at least $40,000 a year on postage. I used to go to this post office multiple times a day. The two people that typically worked here were polite and courteous, I never had any issues. I would have given this business a deserved 5 star rating, except..A few months back they hired a newer employee, an older lady with a poor attitude. The first two times I dealt with this employee I witnessed her tossing my packages from the counter into their little white mail carrier cart. I received more complaints of items arriving damaged to customers during this period than ever before. The 3rd time I went in there I heard her talking poorly about me under her breath to a customer because I went in 15 minutes before they closed at 4:30pm and she couldn't be bothered to work 15 minutes before close.At this point in time I stopped going to this post office and will never return as long as this person works there. I talked about this to the employees at the jersey shore post office, one day they asked me why do I drive from avis pa to jersey shore pa to mail packages if there's already a post office in avis? I said "Take a guess" They said "probably the new lady, we've had a lot of people complaining about her.I don't spend $40,000 a year to deal with such poor customer service, such poor customer service that customers complain to all the other local post offices about this particular person. If you want to continually hire people who do this I'll just spend my 40k at fedex or UPS, they'd be glad to take it.

Came in and worker was sitting by the door chatting with men. This seems to be the case everytime I go in and have to wait till their conversation ends. I'm on the clock and have places to go, either chat/flirt at your free time not during business hours where customers are waiting.

Very dissapointed. On Sunday, January 6, 2019 I ordered parts for a commercial truck that were needed to operate. I paid an extra fee for expedited delivery that was supposed to be Tuesday January 08, 2019. Sometime after ten am I stopped at the post office and was told the package would not arrive until the next day. At minimum this is going to cost me several hundred dollars in additional down time. later on the evening of the eighth I happened to check my email and rechecked the tracking number provided by usps and found my package has been delivered and was available for pick up at 2:12pm. Maybe the employee was more interested in going home at the end of the day who know. .. .
