I have use Pell several times over the years, but no more. They have gotten worse with scheduling the last 2 times. The most recent time they didn't finish the quoted work, it was only a removal of a dead tree and a couple stumps to be ground. It took 2 weeks and a half dozen phone calls to get them to come out and finish. This was on top of of 8 weeks from quote approval to start of the work. And as a final straw, my quote had them leaving some wood chips from my job for use in my garden, when I asked why they didn't no excuse only that they would drop some off. Some wood chips from a single tree removal ended up being a completely full truck with north of 20 yards of wood chips being dumped on my driveway. The professionalism that I used to get from this company is gone. Stay away.

Pell was great to work with in taking down 15 large ash trees on our property. They were quick, clean, and very easy to work with. They left our yard in great shape. Very highly recommended.

Pell sent a crew to my property for a large removal of an Oak tree and pruning of my Locust. The first thing I noticed is the care they took for my property and how safety oriented they are. Isaiah came out and was amazing very courteous and knowledgable doing the estimate. When they came out to do the work they exceeded our expectations. Clear comunication scheduling. I can't recommend Isaiah, Donna and the Pell Tree team highly enough. We had a huge, tricky job (utterly massive tree, limited access, working around stone walls, plus 2 more trees) and booked late, but the Pell team worked with us to come up with creative solutions at a reasonable price point. They were transparent with estimates and pricing, flexible with their timing (we had to change 2x due to rain and travel), timely, communicative, and utterly pleasant to work with. They spent 2 days taking down a massive tree with much less machinery than I expected (so less damage to our yard and property), and were meticulous about cleaning up after themselves. We got 6 quotes for the job, and Pell was both very competitively priced and also the most responsive and professional. I would use them again without hesitation and recommend them strongly. Thank you, Pell team!

Pell was so easy to work with. They were on time when I had an estimate scheduled, they were honest and very knowledgeable. We needed 16 trees removed and they did it fast and safely. I was very happy to work with Isaiah for pricing and logistics and Andrew for our plant maintenance. A few of our plants didn't look so great and Andrew knew exactly what was wrong and treated them immediately. We will be using Pell for all of our landscaping needs!!Services: Tree trimming & pruning

The people here really know their stuff. I had two other estimates comprobable to Pell but the other companies just wanted to cut limbs off and call it a day. Pell diagnosed a bug problem with the tree and recommended a treatment and to thin the limbs throughout. A compromised limb from the bugs broke off shortly after they trimmed and they even came back out to clean it up.

We have used Pell for multiple tree projects around our home, from complete removal of large ash trees and pruning of dead limbs, to preventative treatments. We are impressed every time by the thought that goes into completing the work while preventing damage to surrounding areas (structures, plants, lawn, etc.) even when heavy equipment (bucket trucks, stump grinders, etc) is required in tight spaces. The crew has always been punctual, courteous, and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. A++ operation.
