“Our dog Betty is a female German Shepherd who is in the twilight of her life. She was bleeding profusely. Our wonderful vet Dt.G managed to calm us down and really take time figuring out what was wrong with our 10 year old girl. Diagnostic skills when you are dealing with a senior with multiple problems isn’t easy. Dr.G made it seem easy and thankfully Betty seems to me on the mend. The tech team was polite and our inquiries via text were returned in a timely manner.”
“Two weeks ago my Kings Charles Cavalier's health declined seriously in the middle of the night. He had been suffering from from neuropathy in his back legs and he now had a temperature and was yelping in pain. From the moment we walked in to VEG on Walnut Street, Philadelphia, Dr. Megan and her team of nurses treated us with such love and were so comforting. She listened and gave me the options for moving forward. Finnegan was at the end and we decided to put him to sleep. It was a heart wrenching decision and my sweetie died in my arms. They also arranged a cremation package - ashes, footprint and hair lock - that arrived a few days later. To have such wonderful people with you when you make end of life decisions for your pet is so heart warming. Thank you all so much for your kindness and understanding. With gratitude. Renee Jones”

“First took our 6 year old cat here a few months ago for an illness visit after deciding to switch vets from a vet we were previously seeing in New Jersey. From the moment we walked in we knew immediately he was in good hands and have then decided to take the rest of our cats here as well.
The staff here are friendly, patient with both humans and animals & very knowledgeable. In both times we have been to the Fishtown office; I have had no doubt about the care our cats have received, have left the office feeling like any concerns or questions I have had were heard and answered and that our cats were well taken care of.

“Best vet! Always takes great care of my pets and reassures me when I’m overly worried about something. They are attentive and take their time, always accommodating and flexible and provides genuine good care. They are priced fairly and always try their best to work within my budget. “Everyone here is super personable and informative. Dr. Knighton and the Tech that checked out Fred, my 10 week old street urchin, were super gentle with him. They gave me a clear overview of what to expect for upcoming visits. They also used treats to help Fred be calm while he received care.
I also really appreciated that the front desk staff is able to give you a ballpark quote for the cost of the visit. There's nothing like being blindsided with fees.
I called around to a few places before picking City Cat Vets. Their pricing seems very fair in comparison.
I totally recommend them if you've got a kitty. The office is dog free. The space is super calm and quiet. The staff are A+ from the first phone call with the front desk to the visit itself.”
“Newtown Square Veterinary Hospital treats me and my two Yorkies Marcel & Miso like family. My boys love coming here and getting attention from all of the staff. They are knowledgeable, informative, and true animal lovers. The wait is never bad. We always get seen on time. The rooms are always clean and pretty spacious. My questions and concerns are always answered carefully and throughly. My pets never return fearful because they are so gentle with them. They quickly get records over to me when I need to send them to other places. They are slightly more expensive than others in the area but the quality of care is unmatched! I’m lucky they are so close to me because finding a good vet can be a nightmare. Having them on my side makes me a much better pet owner.”

Alas I moved and the drive was no longer sustainable for my old anxious dog.
Dr. Muriel Enders is an angel. Precautious without being an alarmist, down to earth, took time to explain things to me, super calm energy.
She called me at 8pm to follow up on a thought she had about an ailment my dog has. What a truly wonderful veterinarian. Feeing lucky to have come across Dr Enders and looking forward to sticking with the practice.”
“Bywood Veterinary Hospital is an amazing place! They are so caring, patient and kind. They advise but also listen. I had to put my darling cat to sleep today and the staff could not have been more helpful and compassionate! Even though it was a painful experience, our fur baby was treated very well. In addition, Bywood’s prices are very reasonable! We will continue to be with Bywood for many years to come with our pup. Thank you!”

“Providence Animal Hospital, and especially Michelle from Providence, are the BEST! I’m out of the country and my dog was taken to VEG in Philadelphia… I called Michelle and providence to get their opinion on my dog’s condition, and she was the nicest person and did everything she could to help figure out the best plan of care for my dog. It meant so much to me that Michelle genuinely cared that much about my dog and did everything she could to help, unlike some of the people at VEG. Not even kidding, Michelle’s bosses should triple her salary and give her a 3 month paid vacation… SHE IS THE BEST!!!”
“We were extremely nervous, as our cat was ill for several days and vomiting. Other vets would not give me a fairly reasonable or quick appt. The staff scheduled us as a new patient immediately with kindness and empathy. During the visit, the doctor and staff were extremely attentive, concerned, caring and knowledgeable. They were gentle and patient, as our cat Dixon was extremely fearful. We left feeling that they truly care and that Dixon received thorough and excellent care. “We have taken our dog there for over 5 years. The vets have provided great care and advice, they are very kind to our dog; also, everyone who works there is courteous to us. Really the only drawback to the place is the parking lot, but it’s more than worth dealing with that minor annoyance.”
