When we tried to go into the store to browse, the door was locked, and the employee open the door and asked us directly what we wanted. She was not friendly an acted Like we should not be there. It was a very uncomfortable experience. It’s too bad because it seems that they have a lot of good merchandise, but their staff could be much more friendly and respectful of people.

Love Pucci Manulli for children’s gifts. I bought a stuffed bear, handmade in France. It is so special, a “keeper” for my just-born nephew.

Rude. Condescending. Outdated customer experience practices. Watched me and my 6 year old like thieves the whole 6 minutes I was able to stomach it (5 minutes too long just because my little one was enjoying looking at the toys). I should give Google the one star review for not being able to give this store 0 starts. And if you look at their response, it pretty much proofs my point. You made it very clear that your shop was NOT for people like me.

Pucci Manuli is my favorite toy store & when I first found out about it, I was so excitedI have only seen another example of it in Basel, Switzerland!Being a mom, I know how difficult it is to find valuable, meaningful & high quality toys & books for our children and at the same time not filling our planet with non recyclable items.I admire the philosophy behind Pucci Manuli.I also love its logo!

This toy shop is an absolute gem! The staff are friendly, the selection is fantastic, and the atmosphere is pure magic. It's a must-visit for anyone in search of quality toys and a delightful shopping experience.

The store is quite beautiful and the items inside are unique and well curated. That said, it was very uncomfortable to actually shop in the store as you were literally being watched and questioned by the many store employees. Upon entering, after the door was unlocked for us, we were asked what brings us in today, and continued to be followed and watched the entire visit. It was not welcoming or inclusive, and sadly I will shop at other local stores in the future.

Shopping here is not a pleasant experience. I was followed around as though I was a known shop lifter. When I was ready to leave, it had to be through the rear door, not the door where I entered. The sales people were not friendly.

The cute website drew me it, but the awful customer service will stop me from shopping at this place ever again. The items I received looked like they had been in the shop for a long time. Book spines were worn and it looked like a kid wiped boogies on another product. I contacted the store and asked for a return label, the store said I would have to pay for the return myself because they are a small store and "gift wrapped" the items. Uhhh gift wrapping was a free service they offered. If they don't want to do it then they shouldn't but being a small store with gift wrap doesn't excuse you when you are at fault. When asked to send pics they denied that's how the items were shipped. Sorry, but there's no kids in my house and unless the UPS driver was picking his nose and reading books during delivery, the items were shipped that way from the store.I'm guessing these items were on their shelves for awhile and from customers picking them up and touching them, they've become a bit worn. Things happen, but for the store not to try to rectify the situation over gift wrap is nutty. They need to take off the rose colored glasses and realize that when items are handled a lot, they are no longer new. The items were a gift and the poor condition stopped me gifting them as they looked like second hand items. I don't mind 2nd hand but not at boutique pricing. It would have been embarrassing gifting the items.

I was in the store on friday. It is absolutely beautiful, reminded me of stores I’ve seen in Europe. My grandsons wanted everything they saw. We managed to find plenty of choices in my price range. The hard part for them was choosing. The staff was very patient and helpful. I love this store, we’ll definitely be back!

Lady with glasses is super grumpy all the time! She got mad when aunt asked if she HAD to give her full name for the receipt and said “its JUST a receipt..?”Despite that, my family spent 100 dollars (on just 4 items), she must have have been feeling tired of doing her job because when my mom asked her to wrap a SINGLE stuffie she said “actually would cost a please and thank you” in a very condescending tone before sighing, rolling her eyes, and continuing to wrap it.Since she was so pissed about it mom told her to stop wrapping. The woman must have been afraid of a return because after saying “NOPE!” to my mother (who had been perfectly pleasant) she went “Welp! You can unwrap it then after!” In the most obnoxious condesending tone. Apparently this woman has taken it upon herself to teach my GROWN mother a lesson for something she didnt even do wrong. Keep in mind at this point the woman had not even started wrapping. We returned every overcharged toy. I feel horrible for the poor girl who works there, she is pleasant, helpful, and super kind. It is arguably easier to be nice to customers! For anyone who needs to know, all their stuffed animals are called “Jellycats” look it up on google! I guarantee you will find what you’re looking for + more options.Edit: I’m assuming the woman writing these responses is the women who was so rude to us only because I find it hard to believe someone hired her. This is obviously the temperament of a cranky owner.Your response has been given word for word to many people, obviously you are saving face as there was a single other employee in the room, i had a conversation with her about unicorns. I doubt that offended her.The way she treated my family is classic ardmore arrogance which i find a lot in these trust-fund baby “small businesses” where owners don’t mind putting their rudeness onto others because they’re rich enough to have money either way. I wouldnt expect this kind of behavior from any adult much less a cashier. Act your age, theres enough babies in your “shoppe” we don’t need another.

This store has some gorgeous toys and and books. However, the demeanor of the people who run the store is quite unfriendly. I thought I was the only one who felt I was being followed and treated as if I was going to criminally destroy their toys but after reading the 1 star reviews it seems that my experience was not unique. I have a service dog and the woman started to kick me out until she saw my dogs vest and then she begrudgingly allowed me to continue my browsing after looking quite annoyed. I had my parents visiting and both of them noticed the same cloud of negativity that the staff held. I would like to softly remind the people running this this store that a kind demeanor can go a long way.

The owner was extremely rude to my wife. My wife very politely requested that the store wrap her purchase. That is a service that routinely offer here. The woman snottily replied “we do expect people to say please and thank you.” My wife’s request was totally politely phrased and expressed. I don’t recall if it lacked the specific word “please” or not. A “thank you” would have been forthcoming. My wife, being an adult did not feel like having an unsolicited lesson in manners from this stranger and was rightfully irritated by this statement. My wife requested that the item not be wrapped after all. The owner had not started wrapping the item but insisted on doing so anyway for some weird reason stating “you can unwrap it yourself later.” Her behavior was off-putting.The woman came off like a snotty impudent child. We decided to cancel the purchase. The woman kept repeatedly saying “have a happy thanksgiving” in a creepy overly saccharine tone. It was totally obnoxious and strange. She isn’t right in the head.In other responses the owner has repeatedly stated that “this store isn’t for everyone.” I more than agree. In fact this store isn’t for *anyone*.As another matter, the store is extremely overpriced. Small stuffed toys here are routinely priced at over $80. Everything we were planning on purchasing was available for way cheaper on Amazon.I noticed in an another response that the owner claimed that employees had multiple complaints about our party. That was a total fabrication. She is trying to save face. It is sad. There was one other employee present, and she was standing elsewhere in the store. What are these supposed complaints about, lady? Please detail them. I am very curious. In the responses to her many complaints, the owner loved to throw around that she runs a “small business” like that is something special to consider. Being a small business owner does not excuse her from being civil to her clientele. Maybe she should actually provide a service to the public instead of simply marking up a bunch of dolls she bought online while behaving entitled and rude to her customers.I should state that the young women who also work in the store are always super friendly and helpful. I imagine that this lady is a nightmare to work for. Maybe that explains the high turnover. I have never seen the same staff there twice.Edit: I see your response. I specifically asked what these supposed “several complaints” about “bad behavior” from my party were. You did not address my question. What are they? I am waiting. There was no statement made while we were there about “money excusing bad behavior.” This is a fabrication. You have quite an imagination.

I came in today to pucci manulli to look for a birthday gift and after driving around a bit to find parking, I walked to the door to see it was locked and I needed to ring the doorbell. I figured the doorbell was still there because of a previous Covid precaution however, when asked, the staff told me it's because they are "short staffed". Upon walking inside, there were 4 employees and two small- groups shopping. Feels like a strange micro management of patrons. I didn't find the employees to be particularly helpful but maybe that's because I wasn't a big fan of the selection which had a whimsical vibe but overpriced. I witnessed another patron come in with children and she was holding a coffee and was accosted by a staff member to either leave with the coffee or the woman needed to hand it over to the employee who would keep it behind the register. Bizarre on many fronts. Seems like they don't want your business.

This shoppe is a gem! The unparalleled and thoughtful selection of imported and beautifully crafted toys and gifts for all ages has never disappointed. Whether over the phone or in store, I always get help finding exactly what I'm looking for. Carrie, the owner, and her staff go above and beyond to make this shoppe an experience full of wonder that you will want to return to again and again. Can't forget to mention the meticulous and complimentary gift wrapping! Most importantly, making a difference by giving back to the community and children in need has made this shoppe my #1 go-to for gifting year round.
