After a very disappointing (aka outrageous) quote from my VW dealership, I took my car to Bram at PA Tire & Auto in Ardmore. It was an excellent decision because I was treated kindly, fairly, and communicated with about all decisions. They were able to take my car in and turn it back over to me extremely fast. My neighbor who is a car mechanic later shared that they do great work and treat people fairly which was very reassuring. It's obvious that not only do they do great work, but they are not in the business of taking advantage of their customers. I appreciate the respect and kindness shown to me and will be returning here for any future work! Thanks again!!!

This place is under new ownership in the past year and the difference is like night and day. Poorly staffed, messy dropoff procedures, slow service but most of all making up service that was needed and then coming up with inflated prices that are completely different from what they advertise. Belligerent about it too. Was an honest and reliable shop and now one to avoid.

I dropped off an essentially new car to Philadelphia Tire & Auto at the Exxon on Montgomery Ave for a PA inspection and to rotate the winter tires with summer tires. In the 8 hours in which the car was in their custody, it suffered $2500 of damage. The desk attendant who was friendly at the drop off was cool when I came to pick it up. Paid for it; got the keys; found they had it parked in front of one of the gas pump bays and saw it had been badly scrapped along the passenger side. They claimed surprise and stated somehow a third party must have side swiped the car while getting gas. Here's where the real problem begins. Despite my repeated requests in phone and in person. And despite police requests. They never produced the security camera tapes that the shop attendants claimed only the owners had access to. They kept saying they would and after two months they haven’t. Nor have they offered to help me with my expenses to fix the damage, or help with added costs in not having my car for a month while it’s in the back logged autobody shop. Not even a call to apologize. Nothing - silence. It makes you wonder what the security tapes actually show? If another customer in fact damaged my car while parked, you’d have a chance to see it on tape; maybe get the license or identify the individual from a credit card used at the pump. And seeing how busy the station is, it’s odd nobody saw the side swipe and mentioned it to staff? Even believing the story, why park just-serviced cars in front of active bays where people are coming and going to pump gas! I get there isn’t a lot of parking – but this practice is just asking for trouble.Whatever the real story, the complete lack of customer service, accountability and even courtesy communication means do yourself a favor and look elsewhere to get service done. It’s a shame because I’ve been happy with the work done previously on my other car. But you can’t take a customer’s car, return it damaged a few hours later and then say: “not my problem.”Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great service on all levels. I would 100 percent recommend this business for your vehicle repair and maintenance needs. I had my flat tire serviced and the crew went above and beyond to ensure my vehicle was safe and ready to get back on the road.

Several years ago, I was attracted by their low price of state inspection and requested to pass the inspection by replacing two tires. But I have driven 4+ years with other non-replacement two tires without any problems.

I drove down from Massachusetts in my 2007 Honda Accord for a conference at Haverford College. Once I got here, I lost power steering.Folks in the area referred me to the 116 W Montgomery Ave. repair shop in Ardmore so I had AAA tow my car there. I feared that my old car had come to PA to die. :-(I couldn't have been happier with the service: efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. All at a fair price.I'm back on the road with a replaced high-pressure hose. They were also able to recharge my a/c at the same time, so I'll be cruising home in comfort. The journey continues.A satisfied customer,~AndrewServices: Steering & suspension repair

I couldn’t be more impressed. I came in on a late Friday afternoon a half hour before the shop was about to close with a flat tire on my jeep. The general manager’s brother helped me immediately. He found the leak and fixed it in a matter of minutes. In addition, he was super friendly and very thoughtful about sharing how to care for the tires on the Jeep. Finally, he checked tire pressure on all five tires just as an act of kindness. I will definitely bring my car back here.

I had an issue with my tire pressure sensors. Bram put an aftermarket sensor costing about half what the dealer wanted. Their service was cordial and competent.
