I love that Main Line Honda is
close-by though I find phone calls with messages left are rarely returned. I find service to be respectable though communication could be better

I purchased a 2024 Honda Passport from Mainline Honda on June 21st and Tahir was our sales rep. The day we purchased the car was the day that all the systems for car dealerships were down so we had to be extra patient, which we were. Our purchasing experience was fine. It was the experience afterwards that was extremely. On July 28th, I contacted Tahir and said I was looking for the car registration (we live in NJ) . He told me they needed my insurance card. I had no idea why since I wouldn't have been able to drive off the lot without having insurance. I sent him my card and he said I would receive my registration in 1-2 weeks. I gave them three weeks and then I called them. I couldn't get Tahir on the phone on a Friday night and when I spoke with the operator, she said "We're busy". Well I guess cause I'm on the phone, I'm not worth the attention. I left Tahir a very long voicemail about my disappointment in not receiving the registration. Needleless to say, no call back from Tahir on Saturday. I had to keep going through the automated assistant until a human answered the phone. I had the pleasure of speaking to a manager by the name of Mike Freeman, who was rude the entire time I was speaking to him by speaking over me. I asked him politely to let me finish and he said I'm trying to help you. I said how can you help me if you won't let me tell you the whole story. They sent me a letter to give to a police officer if I was stopped to explain why I was driving around with expired tags. Just to sum it up, this place does not care about you once they got your sale. Move on there are many other dealers that continue to go overboard well after you purchase the car

My car was in at the end of August 2024. Martin Main Line Honda straight up LIED to me about having 2 separate oil leaks. Quoted me $900 total to fix. I held off, two days later I mechanic in our family confirm there were no leaks whatsoever, and then 6 days later I had it in at another repair shop who also confirmed no leaks whatsoever. Further, oil dipstick totally stuck in channel, clear they never pulled it out to see how much oil was lost. Also, I paid for a "world class inspection" but they left my coolant overflow bottle bone dry (it should be somewhat filled - as it draws and deposits from overflow). That tells me they were both dishonest and negligent. They left or caused a ton of grease to be coating my passenger side wheel well, so they either did that deliberately or punctured the CV boot and all the grease leaked out. Either way, I wasn't sure I could use my car for a trip that weekend which caused me major inconvenience. I left 2 voicemails for service manager, never called me back. That they are allowed to defraud people like this is unconscionable. I had an earlier instance of them saying I needed an expensive fix that they later admitted was false and due to a bad technician that was let go. I thought it was a one-off. It's not. I bought 4 cars from them, had them serviced regularly at dealer. They lost a loyal customer.

I just wanted to write a review regarding the positive experience I had buying a CR-V on July 30, 2024. I had the pleasure of working with Derrick Farrell. He kindly had lined up all models with the grey interior I was looking for prior to my arrival to make it easy to pick which model I wanted to test drive. He thoroughly explained all the features and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. I also appreciated him helping me clear my materials from my old vehicle to trade in and into my new vehicle. I would highly recommend buying from here as they had the most competitive pricing on new CR-V models, as well as the most amount in stock.

Mitch was very knowledgeable and professional. He listened and understood my needs. He was able to obtain the vehicle that I wanted at a fair price. Everyone at the dealership was courteous and accommodating.
I would recommend them to anyone interested in a Honda.

The car we wanted was not in stock. They found it and had it driven to Main Line Honda from Maryland. The offer for the trade was fair. Service has always been excellent.

Earlier this year, I bought a car from main line Honda - no complaints about the car itself, but the customer service and professionalism following the purchase has been severely lacking. Attempts to contact the sales rep, finance department, and even management regarding two separate issues have been either ignored or met with condescending responses and even some hostility. There was no effort made at all to make either situation right, and despite the fact that it costs nothing to apologize it seems like even that is beyond what they are willing to offer.

Can’t say enough good things about this dealership. Price was more than fair, options offered were more than expected, salesmen Tahir and Steve were attentive, respectful and empathetic to our needs and accomplished much more than we were asking for. A+ experience. Thank you Martin mainline Honda.

I am not sure how I missed posting this review before now. At the time, I was out of town and assumed this would have been covered under Honda Certified warranty, but they only cover internally lubricate engine parts. That's a separate scam.
They charged $130 for diagnosis (30 seconds of a code reader...I know because I did that before taking it in) and then didn't remove that diagnosis charge when I moved forward with having them do the job. I understand charging $130 for 30 seconds if I didn't have them go forward with the work, but being charged that is asinine.
This is the reason no one wants to deal with car dealers.

Worst auto purchasing experience in twenty years. I took my wife out to purchase a new Honda. Picking out the car took about 30 minutes. It took over four hours to complete the paperwork, and we were paying in cash. Right decision on the car. Bad choice of dealership.

The salesman I worked with (Bill) was nice, professional and well-informed about the vehicle I purchased.
