The skill and the passion for the work is TANGIBLE and VISIBLE. I brought my car in for a "fender bender" repair (which was done to perfection - seriously) and had them detail it as well. I haven't had them detail my car before and holy cow, my 13-year-old car looks new. It's so shiny and the convertible top is so black and I will be bringing my car in for detailing every year now. WHAT a great job. I really had no idea my car could look this good. I'm so happy. THANK YOU. HIGHLY recommend.

Lawyer needed for my transaction with Total Performance, auto body repair, of 283 N. Main St, Ambler, PA.TP cost me $1,768.25 but, via my lawyer, I was able to recuperate $700.00. I declined going through small claims court to get the full amount.I took my car to them on 8/1/23, the day of my accident and the day I reported it to my insurance company. The insurance paid for the rental car starting on that day, too.TP told me they would have an estimate to the insurance company in 2-3 days. This was not done. I called every 3 days for the entire month of August and each time I was told the estimate would be completed in 2 days. I have records of all calls. My car insurance covered the rental car for only 30 days starting 8/1/23. On August 31st, I returned the rental car and obtained another one. It wasn't until the middle of September when TP provided the completed estimate to the insurance company. (They previously sent an incomplete estimate but told me it wasn't finalized. The completion would be done "in 2 days.")Here's how they wronged me. I told them on 8/7/23 I had an opportunity to get a free family car (from New York) if they thought the repairs wouldn't be done by the end of August. They assured me, "just 2 more days then the insurance company will have the estimate." I declined my relative's car and two weeks later, it was no longer available. On 8/31/23, when my rental benefits expired, I rented a car out of my own pocket until all was resolved between TP and the insurance company. This cost me $1,768.25.Initially, TP said they weren't responsible to reimburse me. The lawyer drafted a contract to have them pay but they refused. They issued a $700 refund, instead. From their perspective, they believe that the insurance company took their time to process the claim. This is not correct. They completed the claim 3 days after submission. From their perspective, they said that the "car lift" in their shop was being used for someone else's car and when this was done, my car was then to be placed on the lift. They kept telling me it would be 2 more days. It wasn't.If they told me it would have been 2 to 4 more weeks until the lift became available, then I would have gotten the family car. The lift became available in the beginning of September. The family car was not. From their perspective, they waited for an estimate of the part's costs. It took 3 days. They said they weren't responsible for this delay. Again, they kept telling me 2 more days and all would be done. They didn't tell me they would have to wait for an estimate of part's costs. From their perspective, they gave me a discount on the storage fees. They didn't. They gave it to the insurance company. I saw nothing of that credit. From their perspective, they didn't realize the extent of the damage until after it was put on the lift. I was told, repeatedly, it would be two more days.Did they do good work? I will never know because the car was totaled. I didn't know until 3 days after they provided the insurance company the final estimate that the car would be totaled ... in the middle of September.I was wronged because I could have had a family car for no charge. Instead, their repeated "two more days" cost me money.I will not use them again.

BAD experience! Total Performance is one of the most expensive body shops in the area. They didn't inform me their prices were a lot higher. I had to pay out of pocket almost 20% of the repair that should have been paid by the insurance company . My repair was due from a collision that was not my fault. TP would NOT allows the claims adjuster into their shop to evaluate my car and write a quote. They were also delayed in repairing my car. BEWARE!

When my new (less than a year old) car unfortunately met with an accident (that was not my fault), I needed to find a body shop that would be trustworthy and work for me and not the insurance company. This place was recommended to me by two dear friends and I called them as soon as I got done with the madness at the accident scene. Chris answered the call and even before he knew that he was getting my business, he patiently explained to me the process that would happen (towing the car from tow yard to their shop, the evaluation of the car, the photo reports, the total loss process, etc.,). That conversation itself (plus recommendations from friends) had me convinced that I should send my car to their shopOnce my car was sent to their shop, they kept me updated frequently about what was going on - from when the car was delivered to the shop to the interactions with the insurance companies and all the little things in between. When their evaluation was complete (within 2 days of the car being dropped off there), they prepared a report with more than 250 photos with every imaginable level of detail to the insurer and they correctly predicted that my car would be declared as a total loss by the insurance company. At this point, I didn't need them to do body work on my car but just wait for my insurance company to reimburse me for the total loss and pick up the car from their facility. However, I discovered very quickly that my insurance company that claimed to be "like a good neighbor" was anything but that. And that is where the folks at Total Performance turned out to be more than just a body shop and a business that actually cares about their individual customers more than taking the easy way of being an affiliate of the insurance companiesWhen the insurance company was giving me grief about things that they owed me, they provided me with excellent advise that was extremely helpful in navigating all of that complexity including pointing me to the right resources on the internet or explaining the many terms and their connotation that were not always obvious to me as a lay person. Between Lisa, Chris and Blaze - one of them was always available to talk and gave me the feeling that they actually cared about me as a customer and shared the full extent of their decades of experience in helping me resolve the total loss process with the insurance companyIf you are looking for a body shop that actually works for you as a customer and not for the insurance company, this is the place to go. If I could give more than 5 stars to this business, I totally would!Service: Body & Trim

I am not in the habit of writing online reviews, good or bad. Not that I haven’t had reason to – in my more than three decades on this earth, I have dealt with people and companies at every level of competence and ethical behavior, from genuine heroes to junkyard dogs. Lately, for whatever reason, I seem to be running into more of the latter… a lot more… which makes those occasions when I have a positive experience all the more impressive. Such is the case with Mrs Patience Adamson, i had an amazing experience after investing $1000 she help me trade and earn me $10,300 within a week and her team, I strongly recommend Mrs Patience Adamson for an effective trading experience contact her and thank me afterward. Unfortunately I had a lesson learned driving experience when I became distracted while driving. I went to Classic motor because I was familiar with them. But got a shocker quote that made me look else where. I researched and found Total Performance! I decided to go with them because they seem honest, caring and it’s wasn’t about taking my money. I must say that their job was fantastic! Although it took longer than expected. I was informed of every change. It cost me more in the end than what they quoted, but that’s was due to them showing me additional damage unknown until you take the car apart. I will recommend them to anyone because I was quite please with the service and they even cleaned my car inside. Thanks so much for your service.Services: Body & Trim

Took our car here after some damage parking. Chris and Lisa were both very helpful and informative. They talked through the options and costs for each. They were able to remove the transfer paint and touch up the scratches. The car looks great! Highly recommend!

My car got hit while parked, nothing major looking. I took it in, and the husband and wife who own the shop told me it would be about $4,000. My insurance company just said $1328. So this shop basically was going to charge almost 4 times the amount. They also took up 2 hours of my time talking to me, and I didn’t even leave with a paper copy of the estimate. I also never even got the estimate, or a call back. I never want to trash a business, or leave reviews, but the absurdity of like 7 strikes they did was too much to not click leave review.

Lisa and Chris care deeply about the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their clients. Going "above-and-beyond" is almost an understatement. In my view, they exceed expectations in every way possible. They provide step-by-step details of the estimation process and best-possible scenario options as to what suits their customers' bottom-line interests. Super-friendly, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and doing what's right for customers. 1000%!!Service: Body & Trim
