Beautiful inside and outside, bathrooms need updates. Wait staff was friendly. However they only had 1 person managing the bar, and the food was ok.

As a resident for 28 years, the lanterns that line some streets including Talamore Drive are dimly lit. These lanterns need to be replaced or at least LED bulbs used.

Talamore Country Club was great for our wedding in May 2023! The grounds are beautiful and we got great photos around them and in the club. The ballroom is beautiful with its high ceilings and grand staircase. The space is large and it fit our 138 guests quite comfortably. Karen was great to work with and answered my many questions via email and in person. The food was delicious as well and my guests could not stop talking about the cocktail hour! The mashed potato bar was a hit and I highly recommend choosing that as one of the stations. Can't recommend Talamore enough and I wish I could get married there all over again!

This is an absolutely fantastic place to have a special event. The staff is amazing and the food is really good as well. Such a unique place for a wedding.

Golf coach is the best in this area. But one worker, Kevin was rude, it ruined the experience.

I love this place. I'm not a member, but a friend is. My wife and I got married here in 2016. It's beautiful, the restaurant's food is great, and everyone is so nice.

We were there for a Bat Mitzvah. The banquet room was very nice. We had the chicken marsala and the salmon. Both were excellent. The mashed potatoes were flavorful. The waffle fries were horrible, crisp, and delicious.Overall, it was a wonderful venue. I would highly recommend Talamore for future events.

We have photographed many weddings over the years at Talamore Country Club and year after year we continue to be impressed with this incredible Montgomery County wedding venue. They can do it all from hosting the wedding party as they get ready for the day to having a wedding ceremony outdoors in the garden setting or even indoors in the ballroom. As photographers we are always looking for gorgeous natural setting for photos. Talamore has so many beautiful locations for us to take our couples for their wedding from the front courtyard to the garden ceremony site to the wooden bridge just off the pond on the gold course. We are always excited to be asked to photograph a wedding at Talamore and we very much look forward to the next time we are fortunate enough to be back at Talamore.

Excellent, and a safe place for a golfing event, with pleasant staff, and very clean. Customer service was above, and beyond.

When my wife and I were looking at a wedding venue, the first place we visited was Talamore Country Club. Not only is the venue beautiful, but Mark (the event specialist) was so invested in our event from the beginning that it just felt right. As we visited other wedding venues (10 of them altogether), we could not escape that feeling in the back of our minds that Mark and Talamore would take care of us. That they actually cared about ensuring we had an amazing wedding far surpassed anything we felt from other venues.Looking back on the wedding now, we couldn't have asked for more. Our guests were stunned by the facility, and we were overjoyed that we got so much at such an affordable price. From start to finish, Talamore has it all, and I cannot recommend Mark and the team enough. Thank you so much.

Atrocious service with a beautiful viewMy family’s experience at the Talamore to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday was subpar at best. When my mother walked in, she asked about tables that were supposed to be provided for our party, and the response was “Well we had a late party last night, so we haven’t finished setting yours up.”, which was given with an attitude by one of the managers, Karen.Everything asked after that seemed to be a bother for the staff to handle. One waitress (wore clips in her dark brown hair & glasses on her head) was extremely rude, pushing our decorations out of the way to set the table, which forced us to reposition the decorations a lot. She also gave an attitude when she was telling us that she was setting the tables a certain way. She got an attitude several times with me directly, despite me being kind to her. After most (if not all) encounters with my family, the waitresses would huddle in the corner and talk and roll their eyes. One waitress rolled her eyes to my father’s face when he asked a simple question about seating. The projector was also broken and blamed on the “party last night”. An “engineer” was sent out to fix the issue, but he simply stated that “this wasn’t included in the cost you paid for the room because all of these machines are rented out and we have no control if they work or not.” This resulted in not even being able to show the video we had prepared for my grandmother for her birthday with wishes from family members that couldn’t make it due to COVID.When the cake was getting ready to be cut for my grandmother, my mom asked for the staff to help. One waitress replied to her and said she couldn’t cut the cake because her boss said that it wasn’t a part of the contract we signed. When my mom confronted the boss about this (the blonde boss), she put gloves on and pushed my mom out of the way to cut the case. After the event, she preceded to attempt to charge us (again) for her having to cut the cake, even though it was in fact, already accounted for in the original contract. They also accused our guests of stealing tea bags and sugar from the premises.Overall, very rude and disrespectful service. Although the grounds are beautiful, they are not worth the aggravation of the passive aggressive staff, that seemed to have someone or something to blame for every issue that went wrong instead of owning up for and trying to fix things. The only reason I’m comfortable giving them one star instead is because of the beauty of the grounds.

We were so impressed with Talamore leading up to the 80th birthday luncheon for my mother. However, things fell apart at the luncheon. The audio/video system did not work, which was a big part of our program. We were reminded that the contract stipulated that we would only have access to it if available. Understood. However, what would happen if a company or wedding reception relied on the A/V system. Would they simply be out of luck like we were? We were told that there was nothing that could be done--no apologies.I own an IT solutions company where I help my clients to be prepared for a disaster. There was definitely no disaster recovery for the A/V system. The personal birthday cake for my mother was dropped as the table it was on was moved by Talamore staff and a family member. The response from the Talamore staff member was, "Oh. You have another round cake." There was not even an apology. We had to hunt someone down when we needed something. No one came to check on us periodically. Even a waiter in a restaurant would check on the guests. One staff member was caught licking her fingers to open the bags for the birthday cake slices. In this day of COVID (and general good hygiene), she should not have been licking her fingers. We were told that we took all of the teas and coffees and were charged extra for it. No one can say who really took them. This is a "he said, she said" situation. However, the teas and coffee were part of our package. They waived this charge after talking to them the next day.We were charged double for the cake slicing after the event. However, that was corrected after Talamore reviewed our contract the next day.We have been to several country clubs in the area and Talamore was by far the worse. Karen, the person we dealt with leading up to the event, was great, which is why we were so excited. Kudos to her. Also, there was one server that was quite friendly. Also, the room was very nice and the food was very good. My compliments to the chef.I can't figure out why things went so wrong given the number of very good reviews and the great experience we had with Karen. Unfortunately, we surely won't use Talamore for future events or recommend them to our business associates and friends.
