These folks are great. I called up at 2pm on Halloween with some last minute inspiration. They laughed at me but got right to work. I told them what my vision for my costume was and they made it happen in just a few hours at a VERY reasonable cost. Highly recommend!

Saw recommendations online so thought I would use them for a simple project. I have to share so another customer doesn't have same results as mine.I provided fabric, shirt, and even brought sample shirt to show what I wanted. Was told it was a simple thing [cutting 4 letters out of fabric and stitching to shirt]. I gave him these things WEEKS in advance.On the day I was to pick up my shirt, I called at lunchtime to make sure shirt was ready. I was told he just started working on it. The end product looked rushed.The fabric edges have some loose threads and look unfinished. The stitching isn't consistent and the letters aren't completely level. For example, the top line of the "F" is slanted upwards.I was very disappointed, but didn't have time for a new shirt. Paid $30 for a job I would have done better on my home sewing machine. I expected more from professionals with three weeks time. Will never use again and will go back to my lady online.

Recently had them put a custom name plate and player name on a UCLA football jersey. The finished product looked so authentic as if it came from their locker room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Jackets n’ Things!

I took my daughter here to shop for her First Holy Communion dress. We didn’t plan on buying anything today, but ended up leaving with everything we need. They even steamed the veil and dress so we didn’t need to return later. It was such a lovely experience. Barbara was very helpful. The dresses are beautiful and reasonably priced. Barbara matched us with a veil and socks/shoes and everything was just darling. She even had a 10% off promotion which she kindly applied to our order. It was a very laidback and personal shopping experience. I’m so glad we chose to come here!

I was in need of some pretty major dress alterations and Barbara worked magic! The wedding was postponed due to Covid so when I purchased the dress I was not pregnant and have since had the baby who is now 2 months so things did not fit the right way at all. Barbara worked with me to take extra fabric from the bottom and alter the top to make me feel beautiful. She worked quickly and made sure I was very happy with the final product. Would highly recommend for any alterations for big events!
