This is a hidden parking lot with limited signs for parking. When exploring Amber, please note that the conservation center might be closed, however the trails are open. The parking lot is not paved making it hard to even find the parking lot. Also I wish there were more signs as to where to park. Please note that the trails are unpaved making it hard for a rainy day. When the soil is dry it might be better. Leads to the Wissahickon Trail if you find it. Please note that the parking is free and the trails are fairly muddy. Tons of bridges.

Excellent place for walking and for accessing birding areas. Owned by the Wissahickon Trails organization, who take care of our watershed.Frequently muddy. Some high speed road crossings, if you go beyond the Four Mills area itself. There's also one creek crossing on the east side of the property that requires climbing about 5 steps down a ladder like you would use to get into a pool.

Small but long enough and nice. Just a walk from the center of ambler. Unfortunately everytime there is a flood or natural disaster this place gets hit hard with debree and it usually take a few weeks for cleaning with the vast amount that accumulates.

I went to a birthday party held here in the nature center when I was... (well, let's just say 30 years ago!) I still remember it today, when I take my kids here and can't help but to feel nostalgic at the beautiful, scenic nature trails which wind alongside the Wissahickon creek, just outside of Ambler, PA.

First time here and I must say it's been a good experience. There are trails, bridges and stepping stones that are very well maintained. Also, we saw some wooden benches scattered throughout the area. It was nice finding young trees carefully wrapped in nets so they grow protected from the always grazing deers. The creek is very accessible, some folks were having a good time fishing. In a few words, I would say it's a recommended hiking spot. Not for toddlers or strollers, as there are the bridges and stepping stones, many tree roots to step on the way.

Awesome trial to walk during spring time, tons of wild flowers everywhere. Kids love the concrete block passage to cross the creek, however one of the stepping block is not in place so we decided not to cross but to walk back the way we came. Our little pup loved the walk, most people we saw there were with their dogs.

Nice trail, lots of quoet walking and clearly marked spacesOnly problem? There's a spot where you have to cross the creek on a series of stones. The middle stone had gone under when I went there. Made it more treacherous than it should have been.
