Nice specialty grocery near by other shops in Ambler. I found Mexican Oregano for a dish I was making without needing to order it from Amazon. Similarly other items which can be difficult to source and locate as well as some regular staples were available. I will definitely be going back when I have more time to peruse the offerings. Clean, organized, friendly, convenient.

I've been going to El Limon in Ambler for several years and always enjoy it. Last week I went to their Schwenksville location and was very disappointed. Service was fine, but the burritto I ordered - which I've had before - was not good. I checked the menu to make sure it was supposed to be rice AND beans. The sauce on the burritto was very good but there was only rice in the filling and it was bland. I don't know what happened to the beans. Not sure if I'll go again

Great place to get Mexican ingredients you just can't find in the big grocery stores - achiote, epazote, dried chilies, masa, hot sauces (include x hot valentina and Bufalo chipotle). Reminds me of when I lived in Los Angeles. A must for stocking up on ingredients for tacos, tamales, and any other Mexican specialties.

The food was very tasty. The place was packed on a Saturday night. Still, we were seated promptly, and our food came out quickly. I ordered a burrito with mole sauce, a favorite of mine, and it did not disappoint. Oh, they serve free margaritas!!

Thrilled to try this restaurant in Ambler while visiting our son. Fantastic fresh Mexican food. I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a few weeks and today we finally decided to give it a go for dinner. Wow, what a treat. We ordered Loaded Nachos to start and really enjoyed the freshness of the guacamole along with the tomato's and sour cream with refried beans. Excellent dish to share. I ordered Cheese Enchiladas with rice and refried beans and loved every bite. Fresh and so full of flavor. My partner and our sons friend ordered the Quesadilla, one with cheese and one with meat. They enjoyed the flavors. Our son ordered the Tortas and enjoyed the sandwich so much. Real treat. Excellent dinner and great service. We will return.

Food always good, service always good. We have eaten at a few of these, and they are all consistently good. Haven't been to ambler location in a few years, as we moved. Have gotten food from Eagleville and also like Flourtown before we moved. They're all good.

We stopped by El Limon for outdoor dining. Enjoyed their Tostatas - that you can build with the meat of your choice. You can also build your own Tacos. Great Mexican restaurant! Would visit again!

Hi, We were hungry and cold. Entered into El Limon. Had 2 free margaritas and tacos and chips. OK place. There are too many tables for the space. It is a bit noisy. We loved the homemade chips.

I always liked this small chain of locally owned Mexican restaurants. The spot in Conshy is (was) pretty good. This one in Ambler is not. A burrito was overstuffed with dry, chewy mystery meat and some chewy vegetable stuffing. A chile Rellenos was old and the 'sides' of refried beans and rice must have been made 12 hours earlier and just scooped out of a bucket, both old and cold on the plate. The help is quite pleasant, although the service is slow --and if you sit outside, be prepared for a lot slower service still. Out of sight, you're out of mind. I wish them well in this new(ish) location. The first step in that direction would be to hire a proper cook. This stuff really not edible, we left most of it on the plate..
