These water heaters are dangerous! Do not buy unless you want your house/apartment/building to catch on fire. Faulty construction, terrible customer service, expensive for junk performance. What has happened to this company? Its lawsuit time folks. Get a class action suit going and that will wake them up.

Horrible company horrible service!!! HORRIBLE EVERYTHING. don’t bother getting warranty because it’s useless. I called multiple times and they said they were supposed to send my part and now 4 months later I still HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING!!!! will not recommend to anyone, don’t waste your time, or money. Highly DISAPPOINTED! Truly scam artist. On top of that, I had to still go out and spend more money on a part that had warranty!!! Plus now I have to get other things! Awful. Do not recommend.

Bradford White stands behind their products as my water heater failed 3 months before the warranty expired and it unfortunately leaked out all over one of the rooms in my finished basement but they paid out to both myself and the insurance company. Everyone I know has one and I'll recommend them for life!

Our two year old hot water heater died 6 days ago.The plumber who came out to fix it didn't have the part. Four different plumbing warehouses didn't have the part. The plumber called Bradford -White directly. They said they would overnight the part. That was 3 days ago. Still waiting. The 6 year warranty is worthless. Even if we eventually get the part, the installation of the part will be $900 which isn't covered by the warranty. Their products are junk, their customer service is worthless. I will never buy another product from this company.

Don't waste your money with a Bradford White water heater or better said with any of there products. There warranty is useless and they'll have you run for your money and won't even take responsibility for there issues or mistakes, there customer service is horrible and zero to none. You are better off going with your money to more reputable companies who actually stand behind there products. Take my advise from actually experiencing a horrible experience and save yourselves a nightmare from dealing with these people.

Their water heaters are junk. 50 gallon water heater that’s the holding tank for a geothermal system. Corroded away just after 7 years of installation in a brand new home. Of course, the warranty is only good for 6 years. What does that tell you?The notion that you should have to replace your water heater EVERY SIX YEARS is ridiculous!

Had a hot water heater installed right before the holidays. Thing broke a couple of days later. No problem, it's under warranty, right? No so fast! Sure it's under warranty, but the parts aren't available to fulfill the warranty. No parts. Anywhere in the state. So replace the unit with a new one right? Nope! Bradford White prohibits replacements for warranty problems. Installer says this "goes right to the top." So at this point, it's days before the holidays. What do you do? Scrap this one entirely and shell out $2k to buy a new unit from a different manufacturer? Go through the holidays with no hot water? They have you at this point, and apparently they Just. Do. Not. Care. Wish I could give zero stars.

We got a Bradford water heater 2/12/20. The water heater worked great, supplies plenty of hot water.
November 5, 2021 the water heater stopped working. Took weeks to find someone to service it. The warranty expires 2030. The service man came November 23,2021, from Joseph T Berrena, he said the mother board is burned out. Went through the holiday with no hot water. Now it's December 7,2021
and still no hot water.. we call the service place at the beginning of each week asking if the part came , today again it's not in !! ?
We go to my mom's house to take shower . I have been very patient and understanding we are not the only customer.. but now it's just ridiculous ?a whole month with out hot water.
Please, please someone help us.

Just found out today that our part was never ordered 12/9/2021

Why am I being held hostage for $85 to service a brand new water heater under warranty?? My plumber pushed me to register this newly installed heater quickly and now I know why! I needed repair after only 6 weeks and now the spirit of the warranty is not being honored. Gas was off an hour for kitchen remodel. When gas turned on, everything worked but the water heater. BW tech came, only saw low gas pressure and left. Gas Co and plumbers checked register and lines and ensured good pressure but water heater still does not light. Called service and they WILL NOT RETURN until $85 is paid for the previous day's "service"! The tech did not diagnose anything on the heater. This is the same problem - same ticket. At minimum, service tech needs to return, actually diagnose and then we discuss possible applicable fees. #badcustomerservice. I expect the same generic reply to email the BW cares email, which I will.

So far, so good. The heater was expertly installed by Akian Plumbing and Heating in Watertown, MA. My first electric bill following the install is about 15% lower. Apparently, the Bradford White is costing me less to run.

Our plumber installed a new Bradford White water heater in our new house. Two months later, it started making a very loud buzzing/rattling noise. And then it started spilling water into the tray below, eventually flooding our laundry room. BW replaced the faulty heater, but they refused to pay for the reinstallation. So I ended up paying ~$600 to install the same water heater twice in about 3 months. My understanding is that their competitors have better warranties for when things go wrong. Would *not* recommend buying a BW heater.

I have had nothing but issues with Bradford and White water heaters. I had house built with 2 new water heaters and both failed very early. Do yourself a favor and buy another brand . Nothing irks me more than unreliable products.
