If I could put 5⭐+ for Alicia Hale, she was beyond helpful this morning when we had a problem with our home delivery order and the driver had been in an unexpected accident, but we didn't know that until just recently. She helped in multiple ways and made sure to keep us updated and called back multiple times when there's been other times I either wouldn't be able to get a hold of someone at all, or have had a hard time getting a resolution. And our grocery driver also is going above and beyond returning and bringing the groceries back ASAP when she's able to after an accident.

Horrible customer service. Purchased an item online and decided to return it. Only option was in store return. I never even opened it. Took it to the store with my receipt and the woman Joy that waited on me ripped it open and acted like I was committing fraud or something. She also had an attitude. It took 4 people while I waited to get my refund because she made such a big deal about nothing. The whole experience was horrible and they need to be trained to have better customer service skills. I hope I don’t ever have to return anything to this store again. Total embarrassment for the way they treat you.

I went to Walmart I tried to get a child's holiday outfit for Easter. It was priced under a sign reading $5.00. it rang up $10.50 despite being one of several of the matching outfits under the $5.00 price. Told it was hung up in the wrong place. It was one of 15 of the outfits under the sale sign. I left it there and I hate to see Nate and switch sales tactics. I worked there until I had a health issue and had to quit. Should have known to go elsewhere.

Wish I could give no stars. This has to be the worst walmart ever! Ordered a home delivery and I get a notice saying some items are out of stock. Call the store ask for those items and the person says ya we got a few in stock. So basically who ever does the shopping for online orders is a liar lazy or both. The manger cries like a baby because you tell him his employee is a liar lazy or both and he's like don't cry names. My bad I hurt your feelings? Get over it. You didn't consider how I felt when your employee lied. Oh and maybe I should call you a it before you cry about proper pronouns next. Worried about your feelings but don't give one dang about how you treat your customers.

If you love Walmart go ahead and put five stars yourself. How Walmart has way too many off the top people. The employees are not very kind it is very hard to find somebody to help you when you need the help. I do not like standing around for 35 minutes waiting for somebody to come open a case for me. They also do not have enough people running registers so the lines just back up very far.

I’ve been a regular shopper at this Walmart and have always appreciated the convenience—being able to grab what I need, head to self-checkout, and be on my way. However, I will not be returning due to the atrocious new process for purchasing certain items like acne wash and razors.
Now, these products are locked behind a cabinet, requiring an associate to retrieve them. But it doesn’t stop there—once they’re handed to you, they’re placed in a locked box that must then be unlocked again at checkout.
Why are honest customers being punished for the actions of shoplifters? I understand the need to prevent theft, but this process penalizes paying customers and makes shopping frustrating and inefficient. Walmart needs to find a solution that doesn’t treat all customers like criminals.
This has nothing to do with the employees who assist with this terrible process—they have been outstanding and are simply doing their jobs. The issue is the principle and the unnecessary time taken from customers who just want to shop without hassle.
Additionally, I want to acknowledge the well-spoken and professional manager from Walmart Altoona who personally called to discuss my experience. She was excellent and genuinely engaged, which I truly appreciate.
However, this does not address the larger issue of a massive corporation taking a small-minded approach to a complex problem. While I understand the need to address shoplifting, it’s frustrating to see honest customers penalized instead of implementing innovative strategies that tackle the root of the problem. Why would Walmart, a billion-dollar company, care about the shopping experience in Altoona, PA, when their policies are dictated by corporate bureaucracy rather than customer-centric solutions?

I waited 33 minutes today for a grocery pick up order. Last time it was 20 mins. Today I beat a record. And yes I did check in on the app on time. Triple checked even. Then I saw 2 cars that pulled in after me get their orders brought out. I called the number on the pickup order sign. No one answered! I was prompted to leave a voicemail that I doubt anyone will check since no one could be bothered to even answer the phone. I flagged down a worker who was loading the car beside me and told him I’ve been waiting over half an hour and wanted to know when my groceries would be brought out. Now he was nice and did care! Kudos to him. Wish I got his name. I think he may have been new and getting trained. He had the guy he was working with pull up my info and just as he did someone came out with my order. Just ridiculous to wait so long. The person who brought out my order didn’t apologize about me waiting or anything. The pick up spots appear busy, but that’s because so many lazy customers park in the pick up spots and go in the store because god forbid they have to walk. Anyway…that’s another point. Sometimes it is hard to find a spot in the pick up section because there are too many vacant cars parked there. Wish they’d do something about that. Today it wasn’t even THAT busy for the grocery pick up. I’m just really ticked about this. Could have gone in and been done in that time. I do grocery pick up orders because they are supposed to be quick. Not to mention sometimes they give me meat that expires in a day or rotten produce.
UPDATE: 3 weeks later I place another grocery pick up order. Why? No idea. Lapse in judgment. I waited AGAIN for a grocery pickup— this time it was 45 minutes!! This time was worse though because I was charged for 6 items I did not even receive! That was 1/3 of my order. I only ordered 18 items and got 12 of them. Like Walmart… get it together! That is like 3 bags of stuff you forgot and I did not realize it because my boyfriend helped put away the groceries. I couldn’t cook my meal tonight because you people are so incompetent. I’m done with this. I’m going to giant eagle or martins. I don’t even care if it costs more. At least I get all the food I order and never have to wait half an hour.
