After some hiccups we are glad we got through and the lady’s at the front desk were amazing and the reason we love bringing our dog to this facility and the vet and techs always take the best care of him - Thank you

I took my dog here to get his shots.Hes very aggressive due to a previous owners abuse and severe anxiety...The vets were very patient and understanding.Very competent and thorough
.They did a great job controlling him and even gave me meds to put him on for his anxiety..No vet has ever done that before...I am very satisfied with my visit..My dog is very high maintenance but they did a great job . ?

This by far is the best place to take your animals!!!! Thank you so much for the compassion that the vet and the vet tech had.. During one of the worst times of my life, losing my dog Jake, they were there!!! They had compassion and the ability to understand what I was going through and helped me the best that they could!!! Thank you!!!

I called to tell them my bearded dragon had passed away over the weekend in my arms because any after hour emergencies you have to drive a hour away, which I couldn’t get there fast enough, and the employee on the phone was very rude. I was not told that if there was an emergency after hours that I would have to go to state college which is an hour away and that they also do not specialize in reptiles which Lakemont Veterinary does which is why I went to them. I wish that would have been addressed when I started taking my bearded dragon there. In an emergency situation time is against you. They claim to animal lovers except when it’s an emergency after hours apparently. My pet might have made it if they had emergency hours there not an hour away which I was NEVER told. This is the only Veterinary in the area that makes you travel that far. My baby did not make it she passed away before I could get her help. They need to not be so rude and if they love animals like they claim they need to have emergency services in their office like every other vets do. Also get staff members that are not rude on the phone and make you feel like you’re bothering them. I would not recommend this vet unless you don’t mind driving an hour away if you have an emergency with you pet and you don’t mind being treated rudely on the phone.

Called Lakemont 3/9/24 and spoke to a very nice staff member. I need an appointment for my sick guinea pig. She told me that they could schedule something, but I would have to wait about 4 weeks. I told her that I would call her back if I couldn't get him seen sooner. I just called today, and they stated they can't see him. They are not seeing any new pets that are having a problem. However, they could see him for a wellness visit. Which doesn't make any sense to me. The other vets that see Guinea pigs don't have hours that work with my work schedule since it is an hour away from me. I guess I will try to make him as comfortable as possible while he passes away. Thanks for nothing.

I love the staff here. I called in to get my nieces Geko seen because it wasn’t feeling well. The girl I spoke to was very nice and understanding about our situation. Even though we had never been seen there before they took our information and got us in the same day. They were so friendly and helpful, I couldn’t have been happier with the service we experienced there that day. Will definitely bring all my animals here.

Very rude to me on the phone treated me like they were too busy to see my cat. I have been going to them for 2 decades with all my animals. I have finally had it. This was not the first time I’ve experienced them being inconsiderate and impersonal with me. I do not recommend you call them!!

Both of our goldendoodles go to them and they are fantastic! Always able to get them in same day if they are having problems and need to be seen. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great family vet.

The receptionist hangs up on you when you attempt to set up an appointment and is extremely ignorant and rude she needs to be fired clearly she is not very good at communicating with clients... update called in attempt to speak with receptionist boss about her completely inappropriate behavior and she stated "I hope your dog dies" and hung up find a different vet these people have ZERO skills in interacting with people and that is beyond wrong to say to someone ? shame on the owner for having someone like that work for a vet clinic makes me question just how well they care for the animals if that's how they engage with owners

I called on July 27th at 8:00am. I had a very very sick ferret. The receptionist talked to me horribly. She said they couldn't get him in for 2-3 weeks. She also said they are not an emergency vet but we have used them for our dogs over the years. She then replied to me "what am I suppose to do" I tracked our original vet down to Clearfield Vet. My nephew rode along and kept checking on Applesauce to find he passed! This girl should be gone! Whent in today to talk to the office manager. . I'm sure nothing will be done.

I. use to take all my dogs to this clinic. which means through the years I spent a lot of money taking care of my pets. well I moved from Pensylvania to North Carolina and I was trying to transfer their microchip numbers to my address in north Carolina and I could not. First of all they put the wrong name as the owner and when I tried to call the clinic about this they would not help. I know why it's because I'm not spending money there anymore. if anyone I know in Pa contacts me about vets I will tell them for this clinic it's all about the money do not take their pets there.

Wonderful place to take your pets. The front desk ladies are always so nice and welcoming. And the vets and vet techs are very knowledgeable and don’t rush you through your appointment. 10/10
