If you don't have a JCPenney charge card don't bother trying to return anything. They'll only give you the sale price even if you can prove with your bank account that you paid the full price for the item. I won't be shopping here anymore.

Since I see there are somehow no reviews on the JCP optical Altoona website, I will add mine here. I’m sure you have a CSR reply to these reviews and they never escalate to mgmt, but anyway. I’m a first-time prescription eyeglass customer and was very disheartened by the “know it all” and “I don’t want to be bothered” attitude I received at the Altoona store. They’re nice at first, but you had better adapt or they imply it’s all what you’re doing wrong, and that may be true, but no need for your attitude after I’ve spent several hundred dollars. I was told they could make adjustments, but when I went back for one, you could’ve sworn I asked the worker to cut her left arm off. I’m stuck with glasses I’m not happy with, $380 in the hole, and I would never give them my business again. I’ll spread the word. Do love the rest of the store, though.
