I had no idea how it was going to go, but I was satisfied with my care. Kathy was excellent with helping me figure out exactly what I wanted. My current bank is not my favorite and I may switch over for permanent after w few months.

This is going to sound like a negative review at first, but it's not. Some background info to start: I've had a charge-off that I owed to FNB from an account that went negative over FOUR YEARS ago at this point. No matter who I spoke with on the phone at customer service or which collections agency they redirected me to, not a single representative was able to take my payment due to not having access to my account - some of their people straight-up refused to speak with me at all. I even went so far as to dispute the charge-off through their credit reporting agency, but even taking into consideration that no one in the entire company was taking my money, FNB ruled that I still owed them the full amount. All of this means that for the past FOUR YEARS - nearly half of a decade - I have been unable to open a checking or savings account with any financial institution, because FNB LITERALLY WOULD NOT TAKE MY MONEY.After my most recent attempt to go through customer service, I decided to just walk into the bank and try to hash it out with a branch manager. Today, I went in, explained my situation, and within 15 minutes I was able to hand the teller the full amount I owed to FNB in cash and go about my business. To say I am stunned by how easy it was to pay off my account, especially after the amount of pushback I've received over the past FOUR YEARS, would be putting it lightly. And throughout the entire visit, all of the tellers I interacted with at this location were not only incredibly helpful, but also empathetic to my situation, proactive in finding ways to solve my problem, and generally pleasant to speak with. Thanks again to the staff here for helping me resolve this ongoing issue so I can finally get on with my life.FOUR YEARS!!!!!!!!!!

It really depends who you get. The atmosphere in this place just feels negative. I’ve had some good days, but more often than not I’m met with laziness, unattentive staff and rudeness. Quite a few times they’ve closed the branch very early and other times they’ve ignored the drive through when there’s only one car there for several minutes. I’ve been stuck in that drive through before for close to 15 mins with 3 people working the desk and almost no one inside. Just no sense of urgency or respect for customers.

Never an issue at the 25 th Ave location. They took care of my mother’s account during her Alzheimer’s.Very professional and KIND , they knew my mom well enough to help her in her condition to not over draft her account. As well as help her keep enough in her account for automatic payments. They were an absolute dream team.

I have always had great experiences with this bank. I'm not understanding the negative reviews at all. I have been banking with First National forever!

I would give this zero stars if possible. Not only was the woman EXTREMELY rude to my wife when she walked in to try to fix an issue, but overly dismissive and told us to contact corporate as the "was nothing we could do". Upon contacting corporate, we were told that it was up to the branch manager to alleviate the issue. They told us that there was no complaint filed so they couldn't fix the problem. I explained that we tried to file a complaint and were told only corporate could help us. Terrible customer service might be too nice of a comment for this awful bank. I don't like to bash places but this is an exception.

Staff could be a little more friendlier. You ask how they are you get a death stare. Tell them to have a good day and it’s the same thing! There are only like 2 people there who have decent attitudes. Makes the trip to the bank miserable and I wanna tell them to lighten the hell up. Trust me I am handling money that isn’t mine too but that doesn’t put me in a horrid mood.

I cannot believe how rude I was just treated at the Whenwood office. The teller was too lazy to look up my daughters account number for me so that I could deposit some cash into her account. She's out of town in college and I've done this many times but today the lady had a real attitude about it for some reason. I was taken aback by how rude she was. I cannot believe that that level of customer service is acceptable.

I wish I could give ZERO stars. During a wire transfer of $3,600 the funds were lost (FOR A WEEK), the receipt was deemed faulty, no tracking numbers were used at all, the employees lied to us and gave us some weird "federal" number that was deemed false by Bank of America (which is who I switched to). The employees were unprofessional, especially Joyce, the one handling our transaction. Perhaps further training would be beneficial.

At the FNB on 28th Street to make a withdrawal. The ATM made awful noises and the drawer wouldnt open and my money is stuck in the ATM and was deducted from my account. Now im sitting at the ATM until the bank opens. When the employees arrived, I was told I'd have to wait until Wednesday
