“I meandered into Dr. Tumblety’s on a whimsy and was absolutely blown away. First I was welcomed with an introduction to the stores namesake and then given a tour of a few up and coming additions including a beautiful distillery and a speakeasy called The Storyville Lounge. The speakeasy was incredibly curated with beautiful vintage decor meticulously collected. I enjoyed their Sazerac and felt transported into a different time. This is an absolutely unique and welcoming hidden gem that deserves the main stage in Pittsburgh”
“Was visiting Carson Street with no real agenda other than to find a record store and stumbled upon this absolute gem of a store! I had to walk in and was transported to a different place and time. Amazing stickers and patches filled with nostalgia. An incredible line up of clothing and jewelry. The staff was very attentive and kind, spent a little time talking to the owner, great dude! After a purchase I just couldn’t walk out the front door without, he offered us free gifts on the way out on top of the root beer barrel candies! What an experience! I can’t wait to come back with more money and time!”

“I am very happy that I went into BFF in Etna, PA. I have rode by the shop many times before but never had a need to go in and explore. My daughter started baton twirling and this was the perfect place to go to order her baton. I received a prompt return call and had flexibility with scheduling my measurement appointment. The shop was clean and organized with beautiful dance decor. I was greeted immediately and made to feel very welcomed! The owner was extremely personable and very appreciative for my business! She took time to properly measure my daughter for her new baton. She even allowed my curious child to explore around the shop while answering her many questions. The ordering process was easy. Custom made clothes are worth every penny, especially when it comes to formal wear. Highly recommend going this route over buying a premade suit and getting it altered. “Rather than go with the big box tuxedo rental (Black Tux, Men’s Warehouse, etc), I decided to go to Joseph Orlando for my and my groomsmen’s wedding suits and we could not have been happier! From the very beginning, Joseph Orlando was receptive to the idea and worked through the different options and the best way to get us all measured and tailored so we were looking sharp. He even worked with multiple members of the wedding party that lived half the country away to ensure they got a perfect suit for our big day. I can’t thank him and the store enough, they were great to work with and we all ended up with a great looking new suit rather than the sloppy rentals from the big box stores. “We love this shop and always check in to see what is new. Almost everything is imported from Peru. The lady who owns it is also from Peru and she is SO nice and fun to chat with. It is the perfect spot to get clothes, jewelry, and gifts. The quality of the items are good and the prices are also really reasonable.”

“It is amazing how many different things can be in one store that isn't super size. This is it. Camping, canoeing, hiking , running, fishing,..yes it's all here. And the friendly staff is very willing to help if you have questions. While the prices are somewhat higher, so is the quality. Best to have something that lasts and you'll enjoy the entire time.”

I had to order because they didn’t have in stock, in my size, so know they can do that for ya. “I went here for the first time today after following them on social media for a while. They have a lovely selection of different items - especially plant lovers, but there’s something for everyone! I picked up a perfume oil, a vaccine card holder (what made me want to come in the first place!), and a candle. I love the concept of this store and can’t wait to come back!”

“I absolutely love everything about this store. The fashion vibe is current, trendy, stylish, yet affordable. I've been in the store more recently then in the past and I'm in love with Francesca's!! What continues to draw me back though is Becky. Becky is always friendly and ready to be your personal shopper. She gives amazing advice and is quick to make suggestions that she thinks will enhance your look. I also appreciate her honest if she thinks an outfit may look better in another color or fit. People pay big money to have someone like Becky. When I'm there it's like I'm shopping with my best friend. The awesome thing is I've watched Becky in action and she is like this with each and every customer. I love her positive, happy, cheerful excitement for fashion. She can always tell you how and what to wear with it if you need suggestions. She takes one look and can tell you the vibe of the outfit. “Hot Topic in Ross Park Mall is a very interesting little store. Much to explore. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well maintained and organized store. Prices are high for this type of store but there are always sales and coupons to use. My only issue is that the store doesn't carry a wide variety of plus size clothing in the actual store, requiring you to purchase the larger sizes online.”
“This Old Navy store sells a large selection of apparel for women, men, and children. When I shopped here, I thought that some of the regular prices were high and that the sale prices were low. I chose three tank tops, and they had a low price, a nice style, and good quality. I would recommend that the employees more frequently greet customers.”
