Clyde Peeling is a fantastic, highly professional, well designed small zoo specialized in cool uncommon reptile and amphibians like albino crocodile, exotic snakes and cute Axolotl. Kids love it. And adults tend to become curious Kids again too. They have a parrot enclosure where you can feed seed sticks to a hundred colorful birds who land on you. Even an animated life sized dinosaur park of Disney quality. They even have lectures where you can pet their green scaly actors. I stop here often to see my friends and buy in fun gift shop. You come in from a stressful world and leave with a big deep smile.

Such a great time with my boys! (ages 7-11) We went during the weekday and it was not busy at all. We especially enjoyed the bird sanctuary and getting to pet one of the baby alligators! The staff were so friendly and helpful! Would definitely encourage parents with young kids to go and check this out. We spent 2 and a half hours there and I feel like we could have stayed longer!

We were in PA last week for a music festival and visited this awesome stop. I grew up in New Orleans so have always had the beautiful Audubon Zoo as my only reference AND never ever went to see any of the reptile exhibits.Too scared lol. But this past Thursday my husband and I wanted to change that up a little lol.
Overall it's a natural habitat zoo and has some neat exhibits and shows. We waited for the 1 pm show to see the talk on venomous reptiles and snakes and it was so informative also dispelling some things I believed about venomous reptiles that I feared AND. learned that some were myths. I think it was Catherine?, Katherine ? who gave an almost endearing, but still cautious. talk on the snakes and iguanas. We loved her energy and knowledge. We also met Brandy with the birds. She was just the sweetest and answered all our questions and then so much more. Kinda sad we'll miss the dino and wine night bc those are always one of our favorite event types of things to do that are different. Walked a lot , it was hot, (lol) and we enjoyed it all. Happy 60th Bday

Finally stopped here after driving by the location a million times. $20 entry fee for adults. There is a small circular building where employees give presentations about the animals and a few other buildings where snakes, turtles, lizards, etc are kept in small exhibits. Also an area outside with animated dinosaurs. I wouldn't travel very far to come here, but if you're in the area and looking to kill an hour or so, stop in.

We stumbled onto Reptile Land on the way elsewhere, and we’re so glad now we stopped. After our 3rd visit over the past few years, it’s become a family favorite. Although it’s not a huge zoo, we like it, because you’re not overwhelmed with huge crowds. The staff is very friendly and passionate about their work. There’s lots of fun things to see here for the kids. Check it out.

Went out for a day outing. We had a great time, I enjoyed the educational tips around the displays. We didn't make it for the programs but they had many throughout the day.
I loved the dinosaur displays and was glad I saved it for the end. You can decide how you want to walk through reptile land.
My daughters loved the bird aviary and feeding them with seeds on a stick.

Had a great visit to Reptiland the other week. It was my first time visiting, and there was enough to see that it warrants another trip back someday! Nice variety of species on display, and I understand they rotate species regularly. Highlights included seeing the Komodo Dragon feed (a once a month event), watching the King Cobra shed, and getting some really nice photos of some beautiful animals. We started off our visit with the "Venom" live presentation in the Program Center. Tiffany, a senior keeper, did an excellent job helping us learn about venomous versus poisonous animals and handling the snakes during the presentation. I will definitely be back, and appreciate having such a facility to teach people how to appreciate and respect reptiles rather than to automatically fear them.

Great place for kids, they have a reptile show and chance for close up encounters. Clean facilities and pavilions to eat packed lunches or snacks. Only thing I noticed is none of the tables in the one big pavilion were not handicap/wheelchair accessible and the pathway through the large dinosaur exhibit was not either. It was extremely hard to push a wheelchair through the stones.

It's rare when our children are actually impressed by an activity we chose, and Clyde Peeling's Reptiland was a huge success. Our teenager actually was interested and had fun (and learned something without realizing he was learning...). They have an actual axolotls that the girl lost her mind over. Finding anyone that has a living axolotl is almost impossible (allegedly the San Diego Zoo has one and some place in New Mexico as well). The prices were reasonable for the 6 of us (cheaper than seeing a movie). Everyone had fun and learned something. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly - almost like they were happy to have customers, which is getting harder and harder to find... These folks are well worth the visit - the amount and size of creatures they have (snakes and frogs and crocodile and axolotl and turtles and lizards and some dragon thing that the 8 year old still wants one for her birthday... Not happening) make it a fun and educational experience for the entire family. Keep up the outstanding work. We will def be back next summer.
