I got treated like crape today when I went in to ask a question about contacts and they were helpful at all with answering my question.

The only reason this store's getting 2 stars is because the doctor himself, Dr Chen, is fabulous. Besides being warm and well spoken, the glasses my husband and I got were just perfect visually. The store itself loses points for customer service which is amazingly slow. You can stand at the desk with two employees present and go unacknowledged. When we finally were acknowledged on a recent visit, the "greeting" was "We're behind, it may be a half hour." The final negative points go to Visionworks corporate. Someone there realized the stores couldn't handle live customers while also scheduling appointments, so they came up with "Amelia" - their virtual assistant. If you try to call the store, you won't ever get an employee, you'll get Amelia. Amelia tries to offload you from the phone queue by telling you you can get faster service online via chat at Visionworks.com I did this, and our gal Amelia is there as the chatbot too, and she sucks. She can't understand the simplest of questions, and offers inappropriate answers. Ultimately after confirming identity THREE TIMES with her, and confirming the location we'd used twice, we were told we'd get a call back within 48 hours. In the meantime, I'd stayed on hold with Amelia on the phone, which I was glad for because she couldn't assist me with online chat. And unfortunately, that call continued in "on hold" mode for 45 minutes before the system hung up on me. Hey corporate - if you perceive that your stores need a hand, provide a system that works! Dr Chen, I hope you go into private practice somewhere, because we'd gladly follow you, but as things stand, we won't be back to Visionworks Airport Road.

Total waste of time. You make a appointment sit there for 1 hour only to be told Sorry we can't help you .You need to see the Doctor and his next appointment is in 3 weeks.Then the tech gets mad when you tell them you will go somewhere else .

As most folks complaining this is not a good place to go for contact lenses the wait time and customer service is terrible. I went in Nov 2023 and today is Feb 2024 and still haven’t got the contacts. They keep ordering from a supplier that keeps rejecting the order and the most fun of all this is they don’t call you to let you know the order was cancelled. So they just took my hard earned money to leave me unhappy at the end. Here I am with no contacts and no hopes because the ladies in the office show absolutely no interest and disgust in getting my case resolved. Do not go to this place for contacts! Thank you!

Needing to get a copy of my prescription, the two women at the counter couldn’t be any more thrilled to be there. They looked bored and uninterested to be there. The older woman comments to the younger woman, “that she’ll be out soon”. I did get my prescription, but this has the worst customer service. Choose another place to get examined and purchase your eyewear. They don’t deserve your time or money.

I got the appointment date and location that was just right for me. The eye exam went very smooth. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me with the glasses I was looking for.

This particular staff was amazing. The way I watched the lead, step in to professionally diffuse customer concerns was outstanding. My eye doctor is always outstanding. Visionworks has won me over again. My family and I had to a break due to the way the office was operating. The two years back, I feel we are back where we belong. Thanks
