0 Star experience. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, my state DMV still hadn't issued me a new ID. The temp license I was given was also expired. When I brought my old ID, Passport and the DMV license information website that showed I had an active license through the State of Minnesota, the woman at the counter stated that I needed a printed out valid license. When I asked for her manager she made a 3 minute call and gave a random date that stated it was expired. I pleaded with her to pull up the DMV website to see it was active and she grew very condescending and showed no service or empathy. She was extremely rude and refused to do anything else and said that she had other people to help (one person JUST showed up to the counter). I would be embarassed if this woman worked under me in customer service. She was working the counter on Saturday October 24. I will never consider renting from a company that didn't come up with a solution to a simple problem created by the pandemic.

Thrifty. you have to change your toll policy now that there is no cash option up and down the east coast. There can not be a 15$ charge for every .90cent toll. Please add in EZpass or do a one time processing fee.

Paid for a convertible and they had none available. I would have to wait an hour (this is after traveling all day). They gave us a Jeep and the port for my phone didn’t work. I found out that the insurance I bought online was bogus and I had to purchase another insurance through Thrifty. I had to stop at Best Buy to get a holder for my phone so I could see the navigation. I won’t use them again.

So first things first change the name from thrifty because there’s nothing thrifty about them. Unless you’re talking about how they will lie to you and be very thrifty about putting you between a rock and a hard place and having to choose them anyway because it’s too late to get a different rental. If could give negative five stars or more I would. I made a reservation online for a midsized sub I was quoted $317 all said and done and then a few weeks later it was time to pick up my reservation and somehow my bill that we had agreed on for $317 has changed into $658. No one not even the manager could do a thing to change it to the price I had been quoted and agreed on. The confirmation email only stated extra charges ONLY if there were more days added or I went over the time I needed it (returning it past the 3pm time we agreed on) so why in God’s green earth am I paying double my agreed price. I will never ever ever ( can’t stress enough how much I will never use thrifty again) I recommend Alamo or enterprise.

Went to Thrifty hoping to get out of my car and into an SUV. Denis (with one N), was friendly and helpful. He was patient in answering my questions and was successfully able to get me into the perfect SUV for me, and in my own name. Definitely would recommend Thrifty to anyone looking for a car at a great price.

Picked up vehicle at Lehigh Valley Airport received a SUV filthy dirty. Got on the highway to go to Philadelphia car was shaking at 60 miles per hour. Steering wheel almost uncontrollable. Called to get a different vehicle in Westchester. We were told we had to bring it back to Lehigh Valley. Unacceptable.

Our experience with Thrifty was great! There was no long line and the service fantastic! The deposit was steep ($350), but that might just be a location thing as I typically only rent cars on the west coast.

The tires let me squik the tires were good for killing birds nice and tough so if i ran over a bird and the beak was up . this could also mean theat the tire was flat and it was hard to pop also that makes sense whyi hear metl screaching moreover it was a great company and i treat them as family but i was adopted so im guessing my family was good but if not i can agre with that too. ANY rental company is better. Not only did the vehicle vibrate at highway speeds but it needed 2 tires as well. When vehicle was returned the total price billed was grossly more then originally estimated. Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

Everything went smoothly. The car drove well - no problems. I love that the car rental counter is right by the baggage pick-up at the airport. I would gladly choose this option again. Thank you.

I had a great experience with Thrifty in Allentown. A great weekend rate, polite counter staff, good economical low mileage car and prompt check in in and return. My only suggestions would be to try to have more staff the rental return area and try to move the cars closer to the terminal. Good job! I will rent from Thrifty at Allentown again!
