If I could give zero stars I would. The salesman that I had dealt with was Josh through the beginning of this car buying process everything was going great. As any normal person would do when buying a new car you would shop around. Other Mazda dealerships start becoming competitive with Scotts. at this time, Josh got his sales manager involved, Alex. Alex had called me one evening asking what he needed to do to earn my business. I told him what price point I was at in comparison to other dealerships. At this point, Alex was being competitive with other dealerships. Then Alex had asked me at what point would I purchased the car. I told him that I will not verbally agree to buying a vehicle over the phone, especially since I was still deciding on what down payment I wanted to place on the vehicle. Later on that evening, other dealerships were still being more competitive than Scott’s undercutting their out the door price. As evidence of this and just trying to be transparent, I forwarded Josh and Alex the prices that other dealerships were giving me. The next day, Josh texted me back stating that I had a verbal agreement with Alex again, I told him that I did not make any verbal agreement. At this moment, Josh texted me as per Alex the vehicle is no longer for sale. As the customer the only thing I am trying to do is get the best price for myself that is reasonable. I did tell Josh that if that was the best they can do on the price I would respect and understand that. If they came back to me and said that they had given me their best I would have left it at that and we would’ve went our own ways but since they had to go out of their way to tell me that the car is no longer for sale which is essentially like a toddler having a tantrum because they did not get their way, I am leaving this review due to their poor customer service. This scenario was a perfect example of how not to conduct business.

We purchased our first car last month here. This dealership w/ no doubt is the best in Lehigh Valley, Meriam is by far the easiest and most knowledgeable person to work with. I felt she had our best interests in mind, wasn’t pushy, aggressive or whatsoever. We highly recommend working with this dealership and ofcourse w/ meriam to buy your next vehicle! ?

Scott Mazda is your stereotypical good ol boys club car dealership down to the inappropriate jokes and deceptive deals. We purchased a pre owned CX-9 and are very happy with the car. However, we were sold a nearly $600 prepaid maintenance package and promised that it would cover oil changes and tire rotations at any Mazda dealership. Turns out it’s only good for Scott locations which is over an hour from us. We would have never added it if we knew that was the case. We knew going in we weren’t getting the best deal and were fine with it because we needed a new car badly but didn’t expect the dealership to lie to our faces. Our bad I guess.
Edit as of 8/27: In response to the dealership’s reply, I was contacted by the finance manager but issue was not resolved.

The team at Scott Mazda was terrific! They worked great as a team. Everyone was an absolute pleasure. George was a great salesman. He provided all the details we needed but wasn’t pushy! Steven the sales manager did everything he could to make it work for us and made the experience very personal for us. This was my first time buying a new car and Scott Mazda made it a breeze.

Scott Mazda over the course of 12 plus years has provided me with nothing but excellent service. I have had 4 different Mazdas and have never had an issue. Richard was my sales person and has always gone above and beyond what was expected. Whenever I needed something he was quick with a response. Their overall professionalism has exceeded any other dealership. I always recommend Scott Mazda.

Richard Berkheimer was beyond amazing! My buying experience was flawless. He was an absolute pleasure to converse with, was very knowledgeable in regard to my purchase choice and took the time to show me how to utilize all the functions of my new vehicle. BEST CAR PURCHASE PROCESS EVER !! I have went to plenty of dealerships to find my right car but most importantly to find good customer service and Scott Mazda won me over completely. They were extremely understanding and helped me get the right Mazda for me at the best price possible! They went above and beyond to make sure everything fit my needs. Huge thanks to Meriam, my sales lady. She was there from the start to end to make sure I left happy. The Sales managers, Alex and Steven were amazing and made it hassle free to agree on everything. As well as the Business manager Nick who did everything for me in a timely manner and made sure I got the right coverages and protection for my car. By far the best experience! I will be recommending all my family and friends to Scott Mazda!!

BUYER BEWARE! First, I would like to put out there we have never left a business a negative review as we believe most businesses try to do good, after all it is their livlihood. We understand the impact a negative review could potentially have on a business, and prefer to give grace when undesirable things happen, because mistakes do happen. However, our experience at Scott Mazda needs to be heard. I am so taken back how morally wrong we were treated. We did a ton of research on the car we wanted. We spent hours on Saturdays exploring local dealerships, test driving, and hashing out exactly what our purchase would be. Scott Mazda dealership was the only dealership we could find in PA with that exact car, but several hours away from our home. We were aware these cars go fast, so my husband talked with a sales person, verbally settled on a deal over the phone that was not only confirmed through text, but also by two differnt people including the manager (first mistake). My husband put down a deposit (second mistake), made preparations with our insurance company, and readied a certified check for the agreed amount. The next morning, excited about what we were about to purchase, we started our 2 1/2 hour journey to buy the car. Twenty minutes from the dealership we get a call from the salesman that there was some "miscommunication" and the manager said the car was going to actually be two thousand dollars more than what was agreed on. "Wait..what...who does that?!!" Confused, we continued to the dealership, hopeful we could come to a compromise. Well that was not the case! The manager would not budge. We offered to share in the "mistake" and pay $1000 more if they would come down $1000 and meet us in the middle. After leaving us to sit three times while they "checked" with the big boss, still no budge on their part. We were in shock! Maybe we were nieve through the whole process, but the lack of honesty and integrity was inconceivable! I shared my opinion with the manager that after reading reviews (after the call during the last 20 min of our drive) of buyers with the same EXACT experience, I believed they continued to entertain offers after we put a deposit down, and there was a buyer willing to pay $2000 more. We were simply pushed out of the deal Ithought. "Oh no, not the case, just miscommunication!" says the manager. "In fact, this car has been sitting on the lot and we are loosing money." I say, "Then make the deal!" Still a big no. After knowing that buyers noted in their reviews the same exact experience, we could not trust that was true. I also find it interesting that buyers note in their reviews the word "miscommunication" was also used by Scott to justify the "mistake". We really wanted this car, but could not bring ourselves to support a business with such lack of integrity. Sadly, human nature when people know what they want, have devoted time and energy, it becomes easy to justify the extra $2000 more and buy the car. "What is $2000 more on such a purchase?!", we falsely tell ourselves. Believe me, we were exhausted from the time we put in, and even considered buying. Thankfully, realizing the dealership is well aware of this human phenomenon and apparently taking advantage of it, we declined. As long as people keep buying, they'll continue with their MO. Nevertheless, we switched gears, went to a nearby Mazda dealership, and by some act of God, found the same car, different color but still one of our top choices, and drove it home. We are thrilled with our purchase, but so saddened by the lack of human decency by Scott Mazda. Shame on you, not good business, Scott Mazda...not good!

Buying a car is stressful…buying a car with fair credit is even more stressful..I have been debilitated for the past few months by the stress &fear of purchasing a new vehicle & getting ripped off. I had a strict budget due to my financing from my credit union. My plan was to purchase a CPO Mazda. I could not find anything I loved within my price budget. I went to Scott Mazda about a CPO cx30 Nabil & I had been discussing for a few weeks. My schedule is busy but I had the chance to stop in on an unlikely day off. The vehicle I had my eye just didn’t work number wise. Alex stepped in, took me over to the new car lot & showed me what my options were for a brand new CX-30 with Mazda financing. I was scared to have my credit pulled again& be denied. I walked away to sleep on my decision. The next day I was about to purchase what I thought was a Mazda “certified” preowned 2023 CX-30 carbon edition from Koch Mazda. The salesman seemed sketchy…pushing me to get there to buy the vehicle right away. The price was too good to be true & it wouldn’t last on the lot. They would NOT hold the vehicle for me even with a deposit. My gut told me something wasn’t right with this situation.
I called Alex & I am SO GRATEFUL I did. He got me a better rate than my credit union…something I thought was impossible. Alex went above & beyond to help me purchase a brand vehicle I wanted.
Thank you for helping me & hooking me up Alex! You rock! You made this fearful, stressful, anxiety ridden, hard working woman’s life alittle easier. THANK YOU! ??
There is no more stress…I feel safe in my brand NEW 2024 CX-30 Carbon Edition. I know I will be a Scott Mazda customer for life because of the experience I had with everyone at this dealership but especially because of Alex! ??

The majority of my life, I have worked in customer service…I know what it takes to be good at it. I know the struggles of dealing with people daily especially difficult ones!Not everyone you meet in the business is kind, patient or good at it. When I see or feel great customer service, I have to acknowledge it.
Scott Mazda & every employee I encountered deserves 5 stars for customer service ?
FYI-The same Koch Mazda salesman that barely answered my questions regarding price & certification will NOT stop calling me still to this day. It’s obvious to me now, my gut feeling was correct…Koch is sketchy! Save yourself the hassle & go to Scott Mazda instead!

I was talking with Kara about buying a new car for months leading up to my purchase. I know she’s knowledgeable about cars and wouldn’t put me in something she wouldn’t drive herself. She was looking into what was on the lot both new and pre owned and trying to find what would best fit my needs now and within my price range. She suggested a new mazda and it caught my eye, after driving it and talking with more of the hospitable staff it didn’t feel like I was being seen as another sale but rather a friend being suggested an investment. I can walk away saying I was happy with my purchase and would recommend the Scott deal ship group to anyone looking for a vehicle.

My husband and I got married in May, joining together our 3 ever-growing teenagers. We were in need of a larger vehicle to accommodate all of us. But we were not looking forward to the hassle of getting a new car. We walked into Scott Mazda thinking it would be an experience like all of the others when buying a car. We were truly and surprisingly wrong. All of the staff were kind, professional and welcoming. It did not feel pushy or like we were being “convinced” into buying a car right on the spot. Our sales professional Kara was beyond helpful. She helped us figure out which car would serve our family best. She knew about features, benefits, and options. She was insightful, knowledgeable and experienced… And confidently led us to make the absolute best decision on the perfect vehicle for our family. She had a genuine interest in our needs and helped to make sure all of our questions were answered. It really felt like having a conversation with a longtime friend. The actual process of buying the car was quick and seamless. Kara even checked in on us a few days and even a week after we had brought our new car home. She really went the extra mile welcoming us all into the Mazda family. Needless to say, we look forward to returning back again in the future whenever we need to make another purchase. We’ve already spread the word to our family and friends, and will continue to do so. Scott Mazda is our ONLY choice for a car! Thanks so much, Kara and Scott Mazda! Our family will be Mazda owners for life! :)

Earlier this year I was shopping for a MAZDA3 with certain options criterea. I reached out to Scott Mazda, Lehigh St., Allentown. The sales team there are incredible, they found the exact car I was searching for in a timely manner! I totally recommend SCOTT MAZDA for your new or used car needs!
