Big store. Have found nice things over the years however i hesitate to shop now due to dressing rooms still being closed. That’s enough! Salvation Army store in Stroudsburg has open dressing rooms

It really is a place where people donate things they don't want or need but they are almost always in very good condition...they are put up for sale at a reasonable price.

PROS: loads and loads of clothes for you to choose from. The prices are also good and the staff is very friendly CONS: the media and toy sections are very scarce OVERALL: great if you want to go clothes shopping but not so great if you're looking for anything else

I attempted to drop off a large mirror today. Instead of assuming, I gently asked the donation attendant if the store would take it or not. He very rudely replied "no no no no no" and glared furiously at me as if my presence were hateful. There is no reason why he couldn't have respectfully and politely answered me! I'm never returning to this location to shop or donate anything.

The store itself is disgusting, Clothes are not organized by size, and are often covered in dust bunnies or damaged. Their changing rooms are closed, and have been closed for 3 years as a “Covid precaution” (laziness), and all sales are final. Staff is rude. Salvation Army used to be a good second hand store but it seems like the company has lost all its dignity. Won’t be returning, goodwill is just up the road!

The store has great prices and I respect that, but not being able to try clothing on and clothes sales being final is kind of ridiculous, feels more of a laziness thing than a "covid" precaution.

We donate clothes here several times a year and have picked up some nice pieces of furniture over the years. Staff is always friendly and helpful and place is always organized.

Stopped in there a few weeks ago. You are not allowed to try clothes on anymore. I tried to figure out if the shirt I bought would fit. I got it home and it doesn’t. Waste of money. Will not shop there again. Not allowing people to try on clothes is ridiculous.

Haphazard, messy. One line for 13 customers. Think items could be spurced up as the pricing seemed high for most items. I dropped off 2 large bags to donate, that went smoothly. As I never was here before thought I'd take a quick walk around, was searching for something. Don't think I'll go back either. Will make my donations at a local church thrift store.

I was there last Thursday at 2:40 pm. Went to the register with a question. The cashier chose to take the white guy behind me, then when he decided he didn’t want his items, she tried to hang on to him and make small talk so she would not have to take care of me. At that point I chose to leave. I’ll have to reevaluate my relationship with Salvation Army. I have donated the contents of 2 houses over the years when I have moved for work. I do believe in the work they do, but they choose to have racist scum represent them then maybe those values are changing.
