this Place is a joke, roaches in the food, roaches in the kitchen.. they serve Expired food to the guest here, they also TAKE Donated food items home for them selves “a guest here overheard two of the staff member speaking on it” your not allowed to have no outside food or Drink, they staff run their mouths alot about the guest and their Children, this place is worse then LEHIGH county prison, the only difference from the prison is ur allowed to go outside, BUT BE prepared when you come back inside cause THEY WILL BE searching your bags / strollers for any FOODS. .. its nice to have somewhere to stay warm but when treated like they treat you its really not worth it, just adds more stress to your life & your children's life, they need to shut this place DOWN or get a new person to run this circus ..

This is not a Long term place to live this is temporary to help you get on your feet and they give you enough time as long as you want to help yourself.

Hide your kids, Hide your wife. If you could avoid this place, avoid it at all costs! Spoiled milk from days ago. Big bertha so sassy asked her to help me. She said “Do it yourself it’s not my problem” Rude to children and Woman alike. I wonder who raised these woman to be so cold even to children. They don’t supply disinfect. So if anyone has a STD Good luck!! You have a 1/6 chance of probably catching it here. Nasty buggers in bathroom. I have been getting so depressed coming in here sometimes! If you can avoid do so at all cost. Staff always making different rules?! First you can leave with children, then you can’t! MAKE UP UR MIND!

Hello good morning I'm a mother of two kids I have been living with my son father for about 4 years and now I have been in a Domestic violence and I have until Friday to leave the house please someone help me can I come here and stay with my kids I have no where else to go

I'm sorry to hear the experience you guys had and I'm surprised that this place has changed. When my children and I stayed at this place it was great and they helped me so much to get on my feet. I worked while living here and when I left they helped me and my children so much to relocate to our house. This is not a Long term place to live this is temporary to help you get on your feet and they give you enough time as long as you want to help yourself.

I scheduled a couch pickup months ago and when they came to get the couch they informed me they couldn’t take it because it was used. No point in donating a perfectly good couch when a charity won’t take anything less than brand new.

This is a really good place to help those people that are homeless. They care and they listen. The only thing is you can only stay for a short period of time. But I don't regret it. I was living in this shelter and they helped me alot with my kids. I will never forget the help they did for me and my family. I love this place. God bless them.

Very friendly and eager to help. Genuinely caring people. They gave me a great amount of help several times during a very hard time in my life--everything from financial help to providing me with a much needed coat and gloves.

The person below is not lying about the food they feed you here. Only one hot meal a day. Many mothers and children have got sick off the food given. All though the front entrance looks very nice the living conditions are poor. Some time you don't even get a crib for your child. Holes in the walls in the bathroom. The staff & case workers treat you very poorly. The vents in the bathroom are filled with dirt. The door are broken to the restroom. So you can't even have privacy. Mold growing in the showers. The city should take a look into this shelter. Someone was also fired from asluting someone kid. If you are ever helped here please be careful & be prepared for the worst. Do not leave your children alone. They do not care. New York shelter are better then this.

I called this place a few days ago to try and help a person that is terminally ill and is homeless. The person that answered the phone was really abrupt with me and said " it's too late now There's nothing I can do" even though I explained the situation there was no emotion no caring whatsoever! Don't work at a place that supposivly cares about people then. I was in complete shock. I left my number and no one ever called me back. This poor woman is still on the streets and sleeping on a porch with stage 4 cancer. Shame on you people! And you CARE about people !!! NOT

Extremely upset!!!! Three weeks ago I called for a donation pick up! You scheduled me 3 weeks out! I was on edge because the bad weather today, my house is sold and everything needs to be out! I called this morning to confirm the pick up--' just because of the bad weather! I was told yes- my pick up would be between 11 and 3 this afternoon. So it is now 7:42 P.M and no pick up!!! I wasted a whole day!!!!! You could have at least called and cancelled! Thanks for nothing! Now I have to figure out what to a with A LOT OF BOXES AND BAGS FULL OF STUFF!!! I might end up putting it on the curb for trash!!! What a shame---
