Some teachers are truly very bitter and treat the children very badly, the worst cafeteria employees yell at the children, they do not show justice or patience with the children. The security is terrible, they even made some rooms outside, the children have to go outside to be able to enter the nursing bathroom, etc. During that time, the children are exposed to bad weather and the danger of some criminal harming them. How horrible, because there is not even a gate to protect them or a security guard, nothing.

Absolutely LOVE this school. I went there as a child, and all the teachers and staff were wonderful. Now, over 20 years later and it's still fantastic! The teachers genuinely care about their students, the secretaries are super nice and help keep it running as smoothly as it does. The principal has been working there for over 20 years. She started as a teacher and worked her way up. She knows all the kids, and really takes the time to make sure each child has what they need to succeed. They have a playground and field for the kids to play on during recess. There aren't enough great things to say about this place. If you live in the area that is assigned to this school, your child is extremely lucky! This has been the best elementary school in the district, academically, for sometime now.

My children have been going to Ritter Elementary School since Kindergarten, I am very thankful that they do, because it is a the best Elementary School in allentown, The teachers are excellent with their teaching skills and they work very closely with all the children, they have a great communication with me regarding my children's education, when I notice a struggle in their work after speaking with their teachers, I always go home with very helpful methods to better my children's weak subjects and I always see a major change thanks to the teacher's guidance. Thank you to Miss and Mrs. Williams (k) teachers for making my children feel welcomed, enjoy school and have a great school start. Thank you to Miss Sanders and Mr. Gill (1st G) for molding them to better higher grade education. Thank you Mrs. Klingborg and Mrs. Petraglia (2nd G) for preparing them to a harder level of education and focusing on their education needs. This year (3rd G) they are having Mrs. Nemes and Mrs Hall, great teachers, know how to focus on their struggles and we are working together to prepare them for their first PSSA's, Thank you to both of them. The principal, Mrs. Marks is a the right person for this school, She loves kids, she does her best to make sure that they have a great school year and a safe one and she is always their for the parents and their children when needed, thank you. Mrs Kish is the best school counselor i have ever had at least, My kids always ask me to send them to her if I think that they were not good at home, that is something, isn't it? I know that i am thankful to have met her cause she help us with our crisis and gave us the support we needs when we needed it and I love her parents groups that she organizes at the school on PTG nights, Thank you Mrs. Kish. I know that this is a long review, but few words or to name only few people couldn't make you believe in how great this school is. THANK YOU RITTER!!PS.
