FELT LIKE THESE PEOPLE DON'T WANT ANY NEW MEMBERS...
Today I went to this fitness for the first time after taking the membership through Active&Fit, As soon as I entered in the building I saw that one front desk girl was having some heated discussion with another (member or new) person but surprising other 3 at the front desk were just listening to those conversation and paying no attention to the other people entering to the building or waiting for the assist. Since it was my first day there, I need to activate my membership, so I have to wait, but no one cares about me until the other discussion finished!! Then the front desk girl gave me a form to fill my basic details and asked to sit and she ran away, another person came and asked me the same basic question(he did not even look at the form which i filled!!) and entering into their system. something was not right in the system, he consulted another person from the front desk and he was loudly saying to me "call them, call them".. I was wondering like, "call who? "why should I call"? I repeated asked "to whome I should call? and whats the problem?". then he said, "my id is not showing in their system, I needs to get a new one from active&fit". They were not trying to re-check my details to make sure they entered correct. but simply saying "call them". I felt very disappointed as they were not offering any help nor talking in a decent way. felt like they are busy in some other business.. I was not expecting as I am visiting this center for the first time, but felt like they don''t need any members. when I was explaining to him he was moving away telling me that "i get it" thats it...he did not feel like I am looking for some help. Will try to cancel my members if i can get the refund. Never recommend this center to anyone for sure.

Paula was so rude and mean. Very judgmental person. The staff at the location only care about themselves. When brought to management about Paula they completely disregarded it and did not even care. Who wants to workout at a place that treats members the way she does? Terrible terrible gym. 1/5 for the gym and -10000/5 star for Paula.

Went to cancel my membership last week and left feeling like the girl at the front desk (Paula) was shaming and scolding me for cancelling. I was told I needed to “prioritize my health” and make time for it and that “not having time” wasn’t a good excuse when she asked me why I was cancelling. Turned what should’ve been a 60 second ordeal into 5 minutes of being lectured and questioned on my health and being told “everything else going on in life will still be there, you need to prioritize your health”. I’ve worked in customer service and hate conflict, so I originally wasn’t going to do anything about it. However, my friend called the gym after I explained what happened (as she is also a member there), and she wanted to make a complaint against the individual. The employee she spoke to said they would pass along her complaint and have the manager call her back, and asked if they could have my information to reach out to me for my statement as well. It’s been a week since this happened, and the manager never called her back, or me. Really disappointed with my last experience.

Basketball court closes 4 hours before closing
5 am -6pm even though the gym is open till 10 pm

I had to cancel my membership because the one in Easton was closed. The manger lady is very very rude. I had to come 2 time in different time because she takes break from 1 to 2:30 am. I don’t know how a manger takes up to one hour and half on a break. The guy how works at the front very nice and kept apologizing. La will lose and eventually this is not the only la fitness will close in the future.

Clean, but way tooooo crowded. Get a membership ANYWHERE else. No one is friendly, no one lets you work in, no one wipes down the machines. Machines are always broken too and never get fixed.

Monday evening the gym is packed!! It was just overwhelmingly crowded for me. Nobody wipes their equipment after use. The locker rooms and bathrooms are pretty decent but no way I'm going back into this crowd. Thanks for the day pass LA fitness !!

I loved this gym! I would recommend it to everyone I know, and rave about the amenities. I was fortunate enough to find a new job that pays for my gym membership. So why am I giving them a low rating? Because last month my membership was up for my annual renewal and when reaching out to the company, they stated they will not be refunding me for the $70 annual fee, even though I’m not going to use it. As well, they make it nearly impossible for you to cancel your membership. They have these outdated policies that cause you to not be able to close your account and they’ll just keep charging you. Unfortunately the customer service isn’t there. They trained their front desks girls to tell you to go online to close your account, but the app doesn’t allow you too. As well, doesn’t that mean I just lost $70 plus $35 the monthly fee, so I lost $100 on something I’m not going to use? Cool, Thanks la fitness.
