“My dad has been a long time customer with Dan and Jim and needless to say, I understand why as they came through in the clutch. They listened to my issue, told me to bring it in as it was most likely fixable (I was about to throw away my higher end Sony from 4 years ago). Full transparency, they charge a reasonable fee to diagnose the problem (in the realm of $59) and if they can fix the issue, they subtract that from the total. I understand why they do this and think it is a fair practice. They ordered the part and we were off and running a few weeks later (length of time due to it being over Christmas).
