Drove 40 mins from NJ looking for a specific light bulb that I oculd only find at Dollar General. They had one left. I was so happy they had it but when I got to the register, the guy said it wouldn't scan and therefore couldn't be sold.

Hours posted say they are open till 10pm. I arrived at 9:45pm and as I was walking towards the door 2 employees starting shouting from inside "we are closed!" I said, I would be quick and they both yelled back "no way, we are closed!"

It looks like it's going in the right direction now. Looks like a new store manager and more employees. But you got to understand as well, it's very hard to fine employees these days. I'm just happy that they are now open normal hours..

Store is dirty and you can barely move because of all the racks jammed in the aisles. Inventory is always out on so many things.I have been to other Dollar Generals recently and they are nice. I think you need to rethink the people you have running this store

Why would Dollar General be less busy around 5pm . It's because they close that store around that time .. believe me I wasted gas to go there for the store to be open until 9pm .

This location has a lot of stuff that other stores don't and the employees are all pretty friendly.
