UPDATE: I've noticed some pretty big improvements. Overall, pretty good experience every time now since my previous review.Absolutely awful! Unorganized, unprofessional and over priced. Have had numerous terrible experiences with this Alamo over the last few years. Their check in process is always different when returning the car. This last time, we were greeted by a very rude gentleman yelling at us for miles and gave us a hard time for not having our "paper contract". When approaching the counter to return the keys, as the angry lot man instructed, no one was to be found.

Alamo is my go to. Usually always great service. I have rented 3 times in the last month. But, this past recent experience was not good. Desk associate “Josie” I believe her name is. Gave me a really hard time for no reason. Bad customer service. Not very nice and didn’t care to help me at all.

I wouldn't recommend this car rental. I had a rate, but needed an additional day. Instead of continuing my rate. They raised it. So that one day cost me an extra $130 for rental and fees. They didn't cheat, but certainly bad practice.

My recent experience was perfect. A short time waiting to check out my vehicle and a clean, new car awaited me. They even offered a free upgrade! I had no problem returning the car with their pre-dawn drop box ; very convenient and I couldn’t ask for more. Thanks, Alamo!

Alamo must have a gas scam going on. When returning our rental, we pulled off at the bottom of rt 33, justice before getting onto rt 22 to fill up the tank with gas. I filled the tank and pulled the handle 2 more times letting it release to ensure it was topped off. Then we drove the last 10 minutes to the airport. When I received the email with the bill, Alamo had charged me for over 1 gallon of gas. I do not see how a Chevy Malibu could have used over a gallon of gas going from rt 33 to the airport. Will not be using Alamo next time.

Booked a sedan online but was told they do not have a sedan. I have to pick up this rundown truck I never wanted. It was dirty and smelly. It also has multiple scratches and dent marks. Returned this truck to a different location and was told they will file a damage report. Would not recommend this place. It’s a scam.

Absolute horror story. Received reply and request to contact store owner as seen below. I sent requested email and inforation and then crickets. Don't be tricked by the prompt reply from management looking to rectify. There was no follow up and no effort to correct their circus.Flight landed late, 1130pm and no one was at the desk when I, my wife and our 9 month old went to get the rental. We were told around 4 pm that there would be someone at that desk until 2 am, but we found it abandoned. Only one competitor was open but was unable to issue a rental. Alamo national customer service couldn't comprehend why the last three people at the airport were upset and just kept deflecting by instructing us to come back tomorrow to get the rental. Couldn't get the contact information for anyone local. Nightmare.

I’m absolutely floored right now. We were bumped from our flight and rescheduled to a later flight. I immediately called the local branch and left a message. No one called me back. I then called the national customer service line and they assured me that with my updated flight information someone would be there. I received a confirmation email with my updated flight on it. Flight landed and no one is there. I’m now stranded at the airport at midnight with a nine month old ordering an Uber. This is a nightmare. When I called reservations they told me the only thing they can do is have me “pick up the car tomorrow”.

I love the fact you pay for what you use. I ordered more time than what I needed. When I returned the car early I received a refund. The car was clean and ready and operated without incident.

I had the most pleasant and honestly, exceptional service provided by Kia at the front desk. I just made it on time for my appointment yesterday, thinking I was gonna be late. But Kia was so understanding and gracious and she explained to me how the process works and even offered me of variety of vehicles to choose from. I saw the one walking down the side walk that I wanted, showed her a pic of it too make sure it the right one was available. Sure enough it was. She take take care of everything efficiently and effortlessly. It took me longer to get the airport then me taking care off. I appreciate it, thank you Kia!
