The results were phenomenal. Better than I could have hoped for. I strongly recommend this store if you want great service and you help the animals and needy at the same time.”

“This place is a TREASURE! I love it. Such a great place for the community. I donated and I also racked up on things I needed for my upcoming tea party for my birthday. The customer service was Amazing. Freddie was super helpful. He went above and beyond. I was getting a little sick and he told me to rest and got me a drink of water. And 19 minutes later I was back to shopping. Lol. I can’t wait to get back there.”

“We were in town visiting family for the Thanksgiving weekend and were looking to do a little local shopping and found this place on yelp. Lovely little thrift store! Well organized and so fun to browse around. Were thrilled to find a stash of vinyl to peruse as our son has recently purchased a turntable - picked out an eclectic mix to wrap up and put under the tree at Christmas. Shared this find with our animal loving family that live in the area.”

“First time thrifting, it was a nice experience. The employees are friendly and the clothes are organized by color wheel, you can always find somethingin your favorite hue.I only bought 3 things (including a floral shirt from Macy's with the tag still attached) it came to $9. There's so much variety and affordable.”

“The Light House is a place where you can either donate clothes or other items of things that you may not have any use for and they would gladly and appreciate your donations and you can also shop inside the store for anything that your family need for any occasion. Me myself I donate to them alot of my clothing that I have no in need of wearing again so I decided to donate my things bc maybe I can help someone out who may be able to use for themselves or a family member or there children. Now if you are Dropping off the things that you may not any use for can go around the back to drop off between 10a - 4p on SaturdaySunday and Monday they're closeAnd the other days they're open btwn 10a-4:30p at the front of the store. And they're very courteous respectful people and I still have some more clothing, sneakers, to donate too this Lighthouse. So everyone if you wish to drop off the things that you have no more use for anything you may like to donate than just drop it off and they also will give you a receipt to write it off on your taxes. So everyone good luck with donating and someone out in need..Thank you ?I just dropped off today 2 bags and a box of coffee mugs and I'm also now in my closet getting ready for some more Jean's, sneakers, all sorts of many things that I don't have any use for again and I will take to lighthouse next week..Thank you again everyone for listening to my Post..?”

“This is on my list as one of my favorites. I am here at least once sometimes a few times a week. The pricing is fair, good quality stuff in good condition, good location and the staff is phenomenal. I love their unique spin with the silent auctions too. I can't say one bad thing about any of the workers here. A few of my favorite ppl are Karen, Emma and Janice. And the skinny blonde lady whose always back by the women's clothes. She's a sweetheart too.Honestly, I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. One suggestion I do have is for them to get a drink cooler by the register with water/soda/juice.”

“I go once, then I find my self going back because they put out murchandise every day, but spending hundreds of dollars in there can become menatnous. I am going to try to cut down on my visits there, but I highly recommend it to people who don't mind spending the money for good things.”

“I'd been wanting to check this place out for a while and went with my friend this past weekend. The interior is way bigger than it looks and I thought that they had a really nice variety of items (appliances, electronics, clothes, dishware, furniture, books, artwork, knick knacks &more). Clothes are organized based on size, books were not alphabetized but this also isn't a bookstore. I ended up purchasing a very nice glass flower vase for $3 and a couple pieces of clothing. This is definitely a great place to thrift for really anything. Its not brimming with designer like some stores (I did find quality brands and higher end fabrics like cashmere) but I don't expect it to and I think they do an excellent job serving the community with things people can actually use day to day. Will be returning in the future.”

“Spend any amount of time around the online thrifting communities and you will begin to hear stories of "the bins".Stories of terror. Stories of awe. Where the thrifter emerges victorious. Where they leave with nothing at all. You begin to wonder what it's all about. Where are these sacred places? Why are trips planned to them? Then you learn. The "Bins" are Goodwill Outlet Centers. They are the last stop for donated goods that either weren't sold at their "regular" thrift stores, or were sent from sorting warehouses direct. They are Goodwill's siren song for the trash picking, dumpster diving hardcore thrifters. I have made the Pilgrimage, and I am...hooked. This location is about 45 minutes from me. My first time it was at the urging of another die hard thrifter. It was...fun. The Bins all have the same general format. Piles of items are heaped onto large rolling bins. At Montgomeryville they're roughly organized by categories from clothing to housewares. Each "bin" is like a foot deep. This location has quite a few to sort through, and is paired with a "regular" store. Items are sold by weight, with prices based on category. I've sourced enough broken baby dolls to scare the neighborhood kids at Halloween, found some very cool vintage plates and an entire nativity set scattered across three different bins, with not even a scratch. If you go: they are busiest at opening. Shoppers may be territorial, not wanting anyone else to search in the bin they are at, or they don't care. Be prepared to dig, that's the fun. Wear gloves. I wear the ones used by chefs that are cut resistant - there will be sharp pointy broken things. Take your time. Lastly, if digging isn't your thing, stick to the "regular" thrift stores. No shame. The cashiers are usually pleasant, ready to politely ooh and aah at your "finds". They have some boxes and newspaper for you to pack your purchases if you like. Of course I'll keep going, it's happiness for my thrifting little heart.”

“As far as thrift stores go when you walk in this one, there is a fragrance in the air, which is a complete pleasure compared to the many thrift stores where it just smells like dust, dirt, & mold. The store is very organized and seems to be clean. I enjoy shopping here very much. More often than not I leave the store with my hands full.”
